Weapon Effects and Theorycrafting

You know which one breaks my heart? https://www.wowhead.com/item=13393/malowns-slam?bonus=6710

The disorient works just fine, but the proc adds no strength. I was gonna troll a lot of BG's with those babies...
yea that was one of the first things I rushed in pre-patch. When I found out profs werent capped anymore, I was farming Righteous Orbs and was like... "lets take a moment and get that stun mace" and then was very sad at no str proc.

someone mentioned it elsewhere and I had completely forgotten... when we farmed these for old 39s, the proc didnt work. Maybe it does now, no idea, but thats something to look out for.
it might be a lvl thing, because the proc worked on my 60 rogue back in legion.

totally fell into my head as I made that post... sadly i vendored teh one that dropped for my high level.

Def worth the effort to go check the status of it at 29 tho.
It may well be one of those things like brewfest trinkets used to be where it proc'd, but the buff required a higher level than you were so the proc never actually applied the buff. Which would be good news, because the brewfest trinkets work post SL

If I ever find one I will let you guys know lol. I dont have game time to hop on my 60 to check atm.

Capped out no luck. Literally 9 of 10 times my 29 was given no loot from Malowne. Bullshit Blizz loot system.

I'll try again later.

edit- OK i found one on my level 44 alt, I didnt vendor it after all just forgot which i used. NO strength from the proc.

This is by no means a comprehensive list using multiple 5 min Parses and also checking the TT's inside a BG, nor does it cover every single Enchant in the Game. I just wanted to know for myself which would provide the most White Damage to pair with Crusader on OH.

The threads kinda moved on a bit from this but I was curious and so went and got Cudgel on my vet. Unfortunately, no upgrade but even as green, it provides a slightly higher tooltip than non-GF'd artifact weapons. Top pic Cudgel/Blackout and bottom pick is Ilvl 34 artis.

Which, if you were so inclined (I am not), means that rerolling for epic cudgel is probably the move for fury warriors. Or really super duper try-hards want the bis sword/board combo (which in this case I think would be Skullflame and epic cudgel?)
Looks like the the extra 12% from single minded fury is pushing it over the edge here, which is pretty cool. Also, if my understanding of crusader is correct, Cudgel should increase the proc chance per hit because of the slower speed.

Interesting. I only tested https://www.wowhead.com/spell=27967/major-striking vs https://www.wowhead.com/spell=13937/greater-impact, but in my testing they seemed identical? Not sure why it's showing differently for you?

Unfortunately it looks like https://www.wowhead.com/item=16247/formula-enchant-2h-weapon-superior-impact no longer has a source, so you can't get the best option on a F2P.

@mirrorbender My guess is scaling. Some of these Enchants are even different at 10 than 15 (in which is superior once Enchanted), so likely that's the case but since Pre-Patch we're all kind of left to figure it out ourselves.

Any PPM enchant will be impacted, i've tested lifestealing/landslide in the past which also proc much more off cudgel.

Has anyone tested Ironfoe vs Flurry axe proc rates?

Edit: Seems they both have a proc rate of 2ppm.

Is it dispel-able? Was looking at it...

Not sure. It got 960+ procs before he died (then he probably just used another charge), it was healing every team mate around him.

haha that is the most broken thing I've ever seen. Living ruby pendant healing (mostly me) for 17.8k. It works on party-sync characters. Sorry Fen, your secret is out.

A priest did spam dispel me but it didn't come off....not sure if I got lucky with trash soul conduit buffs being dispelled or if the necklace can't be dispelled at all.
