Sure. But it shouldn't be necessary. Particularly the Caverns of Time portal since all it does is take you to Tanarais, a zone you can...

Thats why we prefer workarounds like fractured skull toy or portal Belamteh->Feralas.

It's super-annoying and seems to be an intentional change. Once you hit level 30 (?) they start working. There is a workaround though...
