We came full circle (twinks + levlers)

I don't know what to think about that, twinking slowly went from gathering bis gear and enchants to locking xp, in the end I think it's a bad change

Can't wait, finally don't have to be a target of Tenaphobia by the 19 Tryhards and can actually enjoy Instanced PvP once again on my 10's.

Enjoy having the same stats and less abilities than the random bums in the bgs. I'm sure its a blast

Man that one ability sure will hurt us 10's in BG's against (mostly) casuals that have literally no idea how to play their Class let alone PvP.

The way it seems to be breaking down is we have a few people upset that some "new outside" people may be infiltrating their club. And we have a lot of people that seem pretty excited about the changes.

Coming from the perspective of a 19 player, I think the biggest concern has to do with WSG knowledge.

Now, I'm not claiming that each and every xp-off player or pug has this down pat but compared to the majority of players you will generally find in xp-on BGs currently, 19s is drastically more competitive as a result of it's players having at least a rudimentary level of WSG knowledge. For example, you will rarely have people stating they will play flag room D for the duration of the game before the gates drop; or see half the team not exiting through the tunnel to start the match; or any number of things that would leave most 19s scratching their heads but are extremely common in xp-on WSG. These things have nothing to do with gear, elitism, or anything of the sort. Claiming that this change will have a negative effect on the bracket is merely an empirical deduction when contrasting xp-on and xp-off play-styles.

Overall, it may prove to be a positive move for most other brackets. Particularly ones which go months or years between pops. But as it stands for 19s, I would not bet on this making the bracket better in any substantial way.

I think one of the biggest things to point out here is that many of the people claiming this to be good for 19s seem to be stuck on the idea that those with experience on will be keen on staying 19 and turning experience off after leveling their way through the bracket.

I'm sure we'll definitely see an increase in overall activity with the amount of people playing and leveling through the 10-19 bracket, and we'll probably get a small number of those players who learn to love the bracket and want to stay, but for most of the people I'm going to assume it will just be passing through on the way to some other end.

I don't think this will lend itself to an increase in the quality of games at all though. Further to what telle mentioned above, the increase in activity will almost certainly include a pretty significant decrease in competitive pug games overall due to these players simply not having the same WSG knowledge we've all acquired over the years of experience-off games.

I like this! Now that we will see new faces almost every BG I can GY farm with no shame! :D

#happycamper #literally

right now we are like the dead sea
there is no water flowing into it and slowly but surely some of our players evaporate leaving a salty cesspool

with these changes we will become more like a lake, most of the water will still just flow through it and be like 'yeah wahtever', but there will be exposure and there will be stayers to offset the leavers that`ll happen anyways

29s can't get much worse than what it's currently at, I doubt we will even see a difference for my bracket.

Believe people missing the point that pugs will become much more random and have much more room for personal input needed from you yourself than in current state.

So many thoughts so little way to accurately express them via a forum
Very true, blackout and HB had the right idea earlier when they had people expressing their thoughts on stream.

Definitely podcast worthy content =P

I can see a lot of old Trial people playing in the 10-19 bracket simply because it is the 10-19 bracket. Some people are easily influenced by what they read on the Internet. The 10-19 bracket is going to FULL of last minute /AFKS to prevent XP gain unless Blizzard institutes an account wide deserter buff.
In the middle to long run though, the 30-39 bracket will probably be the most prolific because it takes a bit longer to level through and may not offer the best balance of abilities.
It really is tough to say at this point. I just know I will go to where the queues are popping. I could care less what bracket it is as long as it a lowbie one.

Have a wonderful day!!
Not sure if I read what you said wrong but they are merging exp off and exp on again, this means that you can keep your exp locked and still play with everyone else, not sure what you mean by last minute afks to prevent exp gain and 30-39 being the most prolific because it takes longer to lvl through.
