that 5.5 million number is over 5 years old. The most recent number is something like 1.7 million, per the API leak in october of last year.
Apply your absolutely bullshit figure of 5% to that and tell me how many hundreds of thousands of twinks there are.

I'd just like to point out that the separating twinks from non twinks (xp off xp on) doesnt change anything because the main issue was not Ilvl and gear difference but the actual skill it self. Yes twinks did more damage but in 99% of scenarios twinks would win because they're better compared to a casual pve player who demands his justice in pvp. In more than 400 xp off arena skirmishes I've played at lvl 70 I don't remember a single enemy fake casting or actually using interrupt, and this would be just the basics of pvp skill. Going by that logic people who are rated over 2.2k or were ever rated high should just be banned from queueing pvp starting at lvl 10 up untill 120 because thats what the issue is. Just to confirm this I've made a new character and as of lvl 60 just in heirloom I still haven't lost a single skirmish even when fighting on "fair grounds"

It keeps the ones with "more skill" away from the ones without it, at a particular level. At equal skill, gear wins.

Im at a point where I just don't want to give blizz any more money at all. Sure, classic was on the menu when it was available with my sub, which I paid for due to twinking… now that they've handled this SO god awful, why would I pay them "just" for classic?

And thats exactly what for we have matchmaking but instead of healing the infected wound they went for early amputation. They could of done some improvements to the matchmaking system or made a completely new one but I guess with all the employees that got fired in Activision-Blizzard theres nobody to do that

It's either that or players stop being bad. Sadly they've become casuals them selves so its no suprise they're trying to please the casuals instead of saying git gud or l2p. Imagine going to a football match without any equippment like boots or shinguards and then complaining that its not fair how the enemy team is more equipped and prepared.

This is what I said. I have over 10 years of experience in twinking, with a wealth of information and knowledge regarding our playstyle. I have done more than enough for our community and have every reason to see myself as a relevant & credible source.
For you to take that and interpret it into me acting like the sheriff of twinking is beyond me. I was simply introducing myself to an unfamiliar community, while trying to show them how passionate and serious I am about twinking. This is all getting repetitive. If I was trying to portray myself as our favor, there wouldn't have been an unpopular opinion shared.
If you must know, I've been unsubscribed for over a month now. Competitive games are what I enjoy: With 59 not being interested, and 39 blacklisting me, there was no reason for me to continue paying for a product that I have 0 interest in. I was late to the party and had to be caught up with these changes. You dont know as much as you think

Besides, the Asian servers have an awful lot of video gamer players. A lot of video game players that are willing to blow a lot more gold than their western counterparts on WoW. Just look at the token prices. They average 2.5-3x US prices. (That’s a entirely different discussion).
The largest portion of the WoW subscribers is probably in the Asian countries. Thus making most of the Twinks part of the Asian countries. Just because you haven’t seen it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
Free your mind and the rest will follow.
