I think the problem is that the forums at this point are just such a small fraction of twinking that anybody just believes anything that is posted/written/mentioned. This entire exchange is just absurd.
Elemental is bad, the damage is bad. Any dog can have it's day, and any spec can be carried in any BG. that is not an argument for Elemental having bad damage/being comparatively bad.
Maybe when I say "bad" it causes kids to get itches in their britches... When I say "bad" what I mean is "Shut your mouth and stop representing the class as something it is clearly not".

ever been hit by a double lava burst and one of them crit, yeah its pretty disgusting
that being said they will lose face to face vs a decent hunter everytime unless the hunter doesnt know what a counterstrike totem is

Since you scale to 29, you dont get HKs for killing lvl 20s, and russian teams are pretty much always exclusivly 20s, guess they had one guy that wasnt in that game.Certainly not arguing but not sure how much that one HK helped.
Lava burst always crits on flame shocked targets.

pretty sure once you figure out what CS totem is, Blizzard just automatically deletes all your hunters.

this SS is actually pretty impressive.
based on the numbers, the shaman dasha and priest thalia were playing objectively and kept several alliance players pressured, but not too pressured that they would die and get resurrected.
so the game was won because horde was basically 2~3 man up (dasha + thalia, in some way, cancelled out 4~5 alliance players)
but horde won, in a game where alliance had way more kills.
please think twice before you speak.

Your 100 percent legit, i have elemental shaman lvl 20, and the spec is so bad, a lvl 20 frost mage twink is much better. Alot of folks are basing shamans on their experience on running premades or duos , trios in battle grounds, were they can free cast- for days. I mostly do 99 percent of my bgs on all my twinks as solo. Elemental shamans damage is weak, even is decked out gear, hunters and warriors dominate all of the bgs in terms or effectiveness. Go in a random bg and unless you have some decent geared healers and some op melee dps your fuked.
elemental isnt enough to turn the tide in bgs, to much casting and low dmg. My frost bolts crit on my mage for 700-730 on twinks.
lightining bolt on a shaman crits for like 420-470 in bgs.
There is a reason almost never see elemental shamans in the 20s bracket. And the one you see are usually twinks because, lvlers would have a even worse time as a elemental shaman. if your twinked out elemental shaman you will do okay, but alot of other specs are just better. Heck even my crit based shadow priest does better, provides more of off healing, and utility to slow targets.
