The recipe requires revered or exalted with the Sha'tar (I forget which), which is really hard to get below 60something. Key farming is really unnescessary, it's a lot easier to just find a leatherworker who can already make them for you like I did.

I know for a fact that you can get the haste drums at 50, I myself have the drums on my rogue and use them regularly during our raids. I just had to find another leatherworker to make them for me to start with.

I feel like it should be mentioned that both the Buru and Ayamiss kills were done on the first attempt, seriously good work on both of those today guys!

You're paying people to play ret pallies??? You should charge them to be able to play them instead, like a terrible dps tax.

Ah, that's a good point about the shadowblade/mongoose. I guess it comes down to personal preference. I like the static agi boost over the proc in this case, because of the high speed of the daggers, but others might like the procs instead.

You're practically bis anyway on that character, so I'd advise finishing a couple of things and joining us with him, especially since rogues currently do the highest single target dps. You could always level a monk as well later~ All you need to do with that character is to respec into...

Just in case I forgot to mention it to someone, I (meduzz) am going to be away for about a month, so no raiding for me until then. Hopefully I'll be able to occasionally check the thread though, so keep it up to date about what bosses you've killed!

The only spec I've tried since 5.0.4 is fury, so I can at least tell you that it's currently very underpowered. It looks like they may get a buff sometime in the near future, but for now don't go fury. Someone else will have to comment on the viability of the other specs...

I don't want to be a dick or anything, but you've hardly got a good attitude yourself Galli. You barely came to raids after you said you would over and over again, and when you did, you went afk for half the time. You've got no right to call out other people with the terrible record that you have.

I think it was perhaps a little hasty to level our 50s after just a week without contact from thirk; this could've been handled a lot better... None of us knew what thirk was up to, but he obviously had some serious irl problems to deal with. Unfortunately what's done is done. I'm not yet 100%...
