US FIFTY - Classic Raiding done right - We need YOU!

I think Stagger is a pretty big deal though, and might give them a leg up against Warriors.

They also get 5% more Stamina over Warriors.

In other news, FML. Glyph of Gag Order no longer works on players come 5.1. That shit was beyond overpowered.
 
Well monks can't get quite as much health as you because they don't have shields nor the enchants that come with them, so the stam bonus just bridges that gap. Stagger means that you still take the damage, it's just a dot. As a warrior you can block every single attack, which means everything does 30% less damage. Monks can take 20% less, but the 20% still happens. Warriors also have plenty of great cooldowns. Monks don't have access to all of their cooldowns. I just can't see monks being as good of tanks.
 
You can't block every single attack, that's simply not true. Even with Shield Block up every time I can have it up (which isn't possible because of rage issues save for AoE adds), there's still a 33% downtime.
 
Yeah, but even so it's the same and not better than warriors. You have the roughly the same base talent stuff, but warriors have great cooldowns. We'll need to see some in the field. Also they get another 5% stamina from leather spec, but they still won't be way over a warriors health.
I just know that everything owns paladin tanking. Haha one cooldown thats half a shield wall.

You're practically bis anyway on that character, so I'd advise finishing a couple of things and joining us with him, especially since rogues currently do the highest single target dps. You could always level a monk as well later~
All you need to do with that character is to respec into assassination, get another dagger and reach 17% hit. Shouldn't take you too long at all!
 
Monks are looking really good right now. The class has a lot going on besides trinket access. However it's totally up to you. Just fyi if you plan on keeping that rogue, combats dps is way down right now. Assassination seems to be the way to go.

That is a really good build, I would still recommend shadowblade/mongoose main hand however. I'll link your armory in the guide. Love the transmog by the way. my transmog set was ruined when I found out for some unknown reason deepdive helmet isn't transmogrifiable.

Ah, that's a good point about the shadowblade/mongoose. I guess it comes down to personal preference. I like the static agi boost over the proc in this case, because of the high speed of the daggers, but others might like the procs instead.

Our tanks have around 10k health and lots of passive damage reduction. Other people just either don't get hit or we go on without them. Usually our dps can take one hit from something, which is often enough time for the raid healer to get them to full. The tanks keep aggro very well, so bosses aren't really a problem.
 
Alright guys its time for my weekly report.

This week we havent had much activity and this is mainly due to a few things, Thirks computer has stoped working if you havent heard already, he is trying to work this out but there is no telling how long he will be out for. This comes at a very bad time for Fifty with the release of the video just before.
Expect that when Thirk gets back onto a computer we will continue to upload videos and start recruiting again.
I have been working a lot lately and have not had much time to raid, this has come at a real bad time considering thirks problems.

With the problems out of the way I would like to officilay say that im going to be starting a raid on Friday (6PM EST) I would love to see everyone I know is dedicated to Fifty there and know we could have a fun raid night if we get enough, we will need 2 tanks which seems like its going to be the main issue, but hopefully we will get goinham and oncilla to show up and if not them then maybe someone else. This will be the first raid in a while and if you are a new character to Fifty who ahs just leveled please add my real id (oldarcos@hotmail.com) and tell me if you can make the raid, it would be great to see some new people around.

Another positive note is that Edwaaardos guide is getting very near completion, so if you have ever been interested in Fifty but had no clue what class to roll, his page is teh destination.

Thats it for this week not much huge news, but please guys try to show up to the raid this weekend it would mean a lot to myself and Thirk if we could get one raid in (concidering we havent had one in quite awhile).
 
Yeah I've started just making chardevs for people with cogspinners. The warrior section is almost done and next comes shamans or warlocks. Then it's just more chardevs and then I will begin work on alchemy and my hit set for shockadin dps. 50% hit is easy stuff as the chardev will attest. Just we're going to have hiiden, thelse and sorry I forgot the name of the other disc priest showing up to most raids and I'm totally fine with the fact that my healing and class are both not that effective right now.

More bad news, sadly. Hurricane Sandy proper screwed us up here in Manhattan. No power in half the city and everything flooded several feet. Luckily I'm on the third floor so I'm okay but transportation has been closed (which has happened maybe once in the past 10 years), so I have no clue when I will be back. Will try to keep in touch, really sorry guys.

Thelse, try and pull some shit together please, I really can't do anything in my position.
