US FIFTY - Classic Raiding done right - We need YOU!

Wowhead lied to me thats all i have to say.

>_>

Do people actually put up more than just comments on wowhead? I thought it was like chardev where they just copied the game code and thats why it doesn't suck like wowiki.

it's cached data (datamined) from the official client, which can be outdated or (very rarely) completely incorrect at times.

gotta get monks to lvl 50 and test that shit ouuuut

I can't see them not being good. Blizzard wants to make them super op so people will buy the expansion. It's just like in league of legends where they make the newest champion slightly op to make people buy it.

Wild Strike got a huge damage increase. Makes me want to finish leveling my 39 fury warrior but regardless, Wild Strike got an 18% increase in damage.

I'm curious if it might be viable to go fury.

Just in case I forgot to mention it to someone, I (meduzz) am going to be away for about a month, so no raiding for me until then. Hopefully I'll be able to occasionally check the thread though, so keep it up to date about what bosses you've killed!

I really don't know about fury. The damage is mainly auto attack based, which are glancing blows, and on mine I have crazy rage issues, and I never get enraged. I want to try it because it looks so cool though and it could be nice damage. I have a warrior I was going to make a fifty on my home server, but I'm really just gonna transfer him over with tons of boe gear

Friday and the weekend we'll be gauging to see who is on. I'm sure a bunch of you are going to be busy with MoP and while I expect a week of downtime, I also expect you guys to be able to attend the week after (if you're online) once you realize Blizzard failed again at endgame.

Cheers.

i'll be lvl 90 by this weekend. Job interview tomorrow and then work on friday/saturday.

then me and this 2.2k mage/rshaman are gonna gear up for the arena season to start.

spicychicken baby <3

I haven't had access to a good computer for the last few days but I should be ready to raid tommorow, if not at least on sunday. But obviously people are busy so nbd if we cant this weekend

Looking forward to having you back.

I'm not expecting a raid this weekend due to it being the first MoP weekend, however, I've been hearing bad stuff across the board from most of my friends as far as MoP content goes (despite how colorful the landscapes are, etc), and I expect a raid next week to at least clear MC trash.

I've also got a few things in store to help out new recruits that includes lots of helpful gear tips and other things, so stay tuned.

Thirk! Your picture! You've finally learned how to hold sploits.

In other news, I bear news of fury viability. Single minded fury is a passive talent you get at the same time you get the passive talent Titan's Grip(lets you dual wield two handers). The old wording of the talent was it increased auto attack damage while dual wielding 1h weapons by 35%, but it has since been changed to all damage, along with the old 35% offhand weapon damage. This bonus to all damage takes out one of the big flaws in fury dps, which was that the spec was highly based on white hit damage. The one hand weapons also have a few nice points, such as getting the gnome expertise bonus when using dragon's call(bis sword), and also you won't lose much damage on special attacks since fury special attacks are mostly based on attack power and not base weapon damage like arms. It is also very possible to attain the ~30% dual wield hit cap without using non strength gear. This leads to the only foreseeable stumbling block, the offhand weapon. You get a lot of hit from the famous pyrium weapon chain(40 to be exact). On a titan's grip build, it's easy to just slap crusader on mainhand and reaper with chain off, but there are no great offhand one hand heirlooms for warriors. Thrash blade still gives you expertise, but it's proc is bad and no raw strength. Mass of McGowan would be okay, but no strength or expertise. I built the build in question on chardev without cogspinners of the beast, which give ~30 hit I believe, and managed to attain 28% hit. Without weapon chain but adding in goggles, you could get a respectable amount of hit(only needed after the special attack cap for gaining rage) and maybe swap out some things here and there, such as icemail jerkin instead of spiderfang carapace, and end up with some dual dragons call action for what I believe could be sweet dps. I really wish you could indent your paragraphs in here.

This is pretty interesting information. I think 2 Dragon's Calls would be better than weapons with hit/str, simply because of how large the damage difference is.

Ladies and Gentleman, the time for fury has begun
This guy was going to be a 29, but I didn't really work on him until they said they were gfing stuff, but I didn't get any stam rings, so I 50'd him. Hes on my home server. Bubble will still take precedence, but I plan on testing fury for giggles. I'll transfer him over once I get more stuff on him, the ah is really good on my server, and then I'll have cool world drops for everyone. Thinking about being the drum guy, my legs are boe leatherworking.
