Leatherworking Drums (Raid Buffs)

So I have a statement and a question.

First off;
Drums of War
Available and every raid should if possible have a person with Leatherworking in their raids.

Secondly;
I heard that US had been experimenting with whether or not Sha'tar rep was available at level 50. Any news on this? If honored is available then:
Drums of Battle
Is also available.

Good find, and for the reccord, I am lvling LW on my monk for the cross-realm raids :)
 
Um you guys are confusing me its the Shat'ari Sykguards not the Sha'tar, please tell me this cause if its the Skyguards then yes you can get it I believe you can get exalted at level 1 through killing world mobs, if its the Sha'tar then it is not available.
 
I know for a fact that you can get the haste drums at 50, I myself have the drums on my rogue and use them regularly during our raids. I just had to find another leatherworker to make them for me to start with.
 
Have you guys looked into the ethereum prison key method of gaining BC reps? I know some lv 20 trial accounts did it for titles and tabards. Unless it has been patched for soem reason, it seems to give rep to an entire group. This should not only get you drums recipes, but also the BC +4 stats ring enchant.

(I may be rolling a 50 hunter with you guys on US sometime in the next few weeks. I've been wanting to do some casual raiding in a context without loot drama, and this seems so perfect.)

The recipe requires revered or exalted with the Sha'tar (I forget which), which is really hard to get below 60something. Key farming is really unnescessary, it's a lot easier to just find a leatherworker who can already make them for you like I did.

Its decent, unique. But you need to take into account the bonus from the profession you are not getting in order to equip this : /

Tanks wouldn't use this, as a rogue you'd be dropping the 50ap/24hit trinkets AND the profession in order to wear this.

Maybe it'd be good for a healer or caster DPS, fairly doubtful though.

Non-gnome healers would use this instead of the 12 int trinket(that procs mana back).

Druid Healers, Shaman Healers, and Paladin Healers.

Reason: the 40% increase in the effect of mana potions. The best in slot mana potion is Major Rejuvenation Potion - Spell - World of Warcraft which is a rare drop off of the bosses of MC40.

The stats are 2399 mana/health returned. 40% increase of that is 3358.6

That's your entire mana pool returned with a single potion. However if you're using the 100 mana to chest enchant and the increase in mana elixir, you're mana pool is actually gonna be at 5500. But still, 3359 mana returned from a single potion is incredibly over powered. Oh and if you happen to be using this for the heal as well, the heal has a chance to crit :) And if it crits, it'll crit for more than your entire health.


If there is a guide on how to farm Sha'Tar rep as a 50, that would be really greatful<3
 
Haha I find this stuff very interesting, but I have to go back to my old statement of how most of the fights we deal with either last less than 5 minutes or require a very low amount of healing. However there are the odd boss fight where this could be very useful and im sure some pople will try it and will be crazy good never ooming, now in order to get the rep you have to do the Eternium key farming grind, this is one of the most time consuming grinds for twinks. At 50 its not that bad since you dont need exalted but you can still expect quite a large amount of time farming or paying poeple to let you be part of the turn ins. Im willing to host a <Fifty> party for the first person to achieve this major fear at level 50 :)
 
Yeah I need the sha'tar rep to exalted for a few recipes.

Also, is it possible to get exalted with Cenarion Expedition at 50?

I suppose it is, since I've seen some 19 twinks running around with Guardian of Cenarius prior to MoP
