Legion dungeon bosses can give you artifact relics as rewards. +14.5 ilvl. The weapon ends up as iLvl 49.

That said, I was able to queue for dungeons starting at level 15+ (F2P cap now is level 20 in SL). Also, earlier I selected "to do Pandaria expansion" through Chromie, and selecting that allowed me to queue for random Pandarian dungeons. I also managed to queue for a random legion dungeon (at level 20) through using Chromie and selecting Legion. I didn't get into a group yet though due to maintenance.

Could something have happened with my toon that I did with having exp off before the prepatch that makes them so i can't finder que?

What level is your xp-off toon now in SL prepatch? I found I could queue for a random BFA dungeon once I was level 15+ (10-14, no dungeon queues). As for random dungeons for other expansions besides BFA, Chromie is needed.
 
Has anyone worked out how to open all the Legion dungeons? I unlocked all 3 artifacts for my priest yesterday and hit 20, however I can only queue for 4/8 of the dungeons
 
i leveled to 20 last night in classic zones and plan to hit legion zones tonight, am i doing this right? When exactly do you enchant the artif weap?

HoA is bis neck right? You need a level 50 for it ? Can you level the hoa?

Rest of gear is from legion dungeons? Can someone break down bis for each slot
 
Just watched some random lvl 40 dude in my group get a warforged epic chest piece lol item lvl 60. so thats a thing in case any one was curious.

You manually go to each dungeon and enter from there. Bring a friend (preferably a healer).
 
has anyone tried turning xp back on without game time? i dont have any xp locked characters and i dont want to try in case i cant turn it back on

How did you unlock the 3rd Relic slot? On Beta it requires Level 45 and the TT on Live as of last night (5am) said 45 also.

He's referring to the 3 different artifact options (one for each priest spec), not the 3 relic slots.

If you want ele force/+wep damage etc you enchant when its under ilvl 35, if you want higher ilvl enchants you enchant if after you break ilvl 35 (2 artifact relics makes it ilvl 49 (1 makes it ilvl 34).

HOA is bis if you can get it still. Yes you need a random level 50 who can trade Azerite armor to you (doesnt matter if its mail/cloth/leather - literally does not need to match your proficiency). Yes you can level it via quests/island expos.

Legion dungeons for gear if you dont go TBC/Shatt route for gems. If you use Chromie to do BRoken Shore questline you can random queue Legion dungeons. (Make sure you complete HOA/BFA intro quest prior to swapping)

Goodluck.


edit: Nobody has a definitive BIS slot. Each class is different. Find what secondaries you prefer and press Shift J in game and start looking through each Legion dungeon to find what pieces match what you want.

Thanks for that heads up! Now to look at the numbers and figure out bis enchants for all my toons 0.o

If you enchant with +dmg for example, will that enchant still work if you level it above ilvl 35 or do you need to stay under ilvl 35

is artifact weapon 100% best for all specs?

We believe the enchant still works, much like how 101s enchant their artifacts before relicing. You just can't apply it if the artifact is too high.

Correct. It still works if applied prior to going over ilvl 35
