Lets Fix Our Bracket

I, as a no where near pro twink, think that one of the biggest problems, among many, are that the more experienced and better geared twinks, either are too arrogant or cba to help a undergeared/skilled twink asking for help. Therefor it is very hard for newcomers to really stand a chance against these experienced twinks, they need to be guided.
So in order to strengthen this bracket and gain not only more players, but more skilled players, we need to use our experience to guide them.

It's funny that nothing will actually be made of this thread. Maybe a few PM's to scrubs about TI, but we will all fall back to our own egotistic views. Everyone wants to be the best, that's why PvP is so addicting. Twinking allows players to compete, and just as a school-yard bully does, they push others down to lift themselves up. This problem will never truly be solved because its impossible to alleviate the pain of losing. People want to win, they want to be remembered, they want to be praised. It's a vicious, perpetual cycle.

overated? that a joke? we came 5 feet from beating WT in the first game and then capped on them during the 2nd game. BUT do you know what **** comp we were running compared to Wt's?
1.) we ran a hpally FC ( So were gimped in MId we had 2 heals in mid compared to WT's 3)
2.) we ran 2 mages 1 frost and 1 arcane (Becasue we needed to fill spots and again we were gimped in mid becasue of lolbelf)
3.) we had 3-4 ppl who had played 19s a total of 5-6 times before that premade? *(again becasue we needed to fill spots)
4.) we had a bunch of different people on different classes just so we could field 10
5.) we rushed into the premade becasue slyddur was going to be inactive for months.
if anyone is overated its WT. both of those games were extremly good for us conserding the above anyone who played in the premade can vouch for that
now that MGC has its desired 10 where is WT i ask..... oh yeah premading BTB but dojin us

We've heard that for months and if you have such a problem with WT, since they won't play you (which is obvious), QQ to them not everyone else.Oh and while we're on the topic of MGC (which most threads are now since you guys always seem to post on every thread how you proclaimed yourself #1) gy farming to "catch up to pizza" instead of 3 capping is hurting the bracket by discouraging players. So why don't you help the bracket by not farming and QQ to the people you have a problem with instead of posting it all over this site. Since I'm sure I'm not the only one tired of seeing it on every other forum.

Oh and while we're on the topic of MGC (which most threads are now since you guys always seem to post on every thread how you proclaimed yourself #1) gy farming to "catch up to pizza" instead of 3 capping is hurting the bracket by discouraging players. So why don't you help the bracket by not farming and QQ to the people you have a problem with instead of posting it all over this site. Since I'm sure I'm not the only one tired of seeing it on every other forum.

not much one can do imo
- bracket is easy to insta-twink in due to BOA gear/trinkets, so bracket imo is taken less serious when you can insta-make a BIS twink minus a AGM in just a few hours. i have run into many players that go insane to build a twink, play a few games and never see them until i get a whisper and notice they are at level 83 or whatever. or players that build a certain twink and don't like it, roll another and don't like it, roll another...etc etc. then overall quit 19's due to drastic imbalances cause they realize no matter what class they roll......it wouldn't matter and all out quit 19's
- faction swaps and duel faction rolling drasticaly affects games in making them more lopsided from game to game
- many players still turn off XP at 19, still thinking that they are gonna be farming levers. they are over geared when compared to new account players, ill geared compared to XP-off twinks
- GY farming ruins the supposed pro-twink/professional status of the bracket. it can also affect que times and also many players after going thru or AFKing out at times, seem to not que for at times for days. while other players or are duel rolled with multiple twinks log to the other faction and make things even worse in lopsided games and huge differences in que times. btw...WT is not the only guild and horde are not the only ones that GY farm, so don't flame on them alone.
- the grass is not greener in other brackets or balanced either, thinking so or saying so....is a lie to yourself and others. it's not even close to being balanced at 85 where all the focus is and imo will never be at any level below that.
- slow fixes of what needs to be fixed by blizzard can cause many to quit, with most of those never coming back. like back in wotlk when shamans became OP (yeah they were), enti's quenching sword. 225 mining bug gave 750 hp bonus, hunters had monkey glyph, hunters were able to use wotlk scopes on BOA's, BOA shoulders allowed high level enchants, and many at the time couldn't get BOAS...etc etc, we lost a ton of twink 19's in our guild and many of the other guilds on our server. i myself pretty much quit rolling my 19 rogue for 2 years, occasionally rolled my hunter and went to the 70-79 wsg/ab/eots and 61-70 av bracket with three players to 70.
- satchel loot exploiting now is the biggest threat to low level brackets, this has not been totally fixed and the exploit can still be done

I agree with the OP, helping new people is the only way to create a community that can sustain itself. I remember when I first started a few years ago, I was terrible, absolutely horrible. Then I met a twink by the name of Purplekush (or something like that) he was a 19 twink hunter in Sumar's Finest. I remember he went on his horde warlock and we chatted and he taught me how to play better by doing simple things like back strafing. I wish I could contact him because thinking back on it he really helped me a lot.
Also when I joined the F2P community (while un-related) a twink by the name of Kincaide basically helped me out with everything and made me want to stick around. It just shows how a little kindness can go a long way.
