Cata zone exploration

Hey, i want to explore the cata zones on my war. But ive heard in some other threads that you get dced in, for an example uldum, and you couldnt get out.

Ive also seen someone having a solution for it by changing some game files in your wow folder.

Cant seem to find it anymore. So does anyone know how i can prevent from getting stuck by dcs?

You can't explore every Cat zone solo, but certainly much of it is possible. If you're getting DC, and you haven't downloaded the enitre game, then edit your config.wtf file and make sure the line:



SET accounttype "BC" is changed from "BC" to "CT"



Then open the launcher and download the rest of it. After that you shouldn't have any DC issues.



Edit: Also, if you do find yourself stuck, you can open a ticket and you can get ported back somewhere safe. These types of tickets usually get answered within ten minutes.

now that you can't zone hop with your corpse, exploring many of the high-level zones without help is a rather painful process. unless you're going to a specific area for a specific achievement, you might want to hold off until you find someone with a flying mount that can help you out.



some zones aren't the easy achievement points they used to be.
