I don't understand F2P twinking..

The 20-24 bracket, is comprised mainly of f2p 20's.

f2p are mainly comprised of people who are new to the game. They are new to the game, spells, possibly even new to online PvP.

In my case, I try to avoid these newer players by premading with people from AP horde, who gear for f2p BiS, and know the objectives of WSG.

Honestly, with choice of brackets you have as a p2p, expecting top notch pvp players in a STARTER EDITION ACCOUNT dominated bracket is a little silly.

You don't understand f2p twinking? Well too bad. What did you think you were going to find? This bracket is a school, not a retirement home.

Honestly this just sounds like you rolled a 24 because you thought you could have a good time face-rolling new clueless people, but now you're just a little disappointed because you probably forgot that those same clueless people were also going to be on your team.

Stop acting you're 'all that' coming into this bracket with 4 levels the majority of this bracket can't get, enchants the majority of this bracket can't get. and gear the majority of this bracket can't get.

It's like people only come to this thread to say stuff that has been said 10 times already just go try and prove the point. If you have read any of what has been said you will know that we have covered this a few times actually. Believe me if you want but I found the 20-24 bracket by accident and decided to stay. That is what I've said from the beginning. It's what I will continue to say until the bracket dies...

And yes expecting people to know how to play Capture the Flag does seem a bit weird... especially if they are playing a PvP game... I used to work as a youth group worker (Ages 6-12) and when we asked if they wanted to play Capture the Flag we very rarely had to explain the rules to them as they knew how to play.... You get their flag, you protect your own... they didn't run around just tagging people in the middle of the field because they were new... They played the game how it was designed to...

In the 5 years I done that we had to explain the rules of CTF to 3 children... Only 3 over 5 years... Since I started playing 20-24 I have had to explain what CTF is every single BG to at least 6 people so I hope you can understand my reasoning by posting this here.

1. It's free.
2. It's a challenge.
3. When you kill a 24 you feel good because they are 'better'.

Please not that I have never thought I was 'all that' by 'face-rolling clueless people' there is absolutely no joy in that.. When there is no objective, I defend. When they get the flag or we get theirs I either defend our FC, Or attack their EFC(Or healers) regardless of class/race/level.

What I do enjoy is seeing people who know how to play objectively...

Now if I could premade every time then I would.. But there are some times that I play and me being in the time zone I am, Makes it difficult so I solo que and am paired up with people who don't know how to play which frustrates me a little bit but you can't win them all as we have gone over this through out the thread. When you PuG you can't pick your team(Sounds obvious but I had to say it). Now as for 'needing' the enchants and the gear to be a better player, I'm not going to argue that fact as yes they do help. But as I said to someone else in this thread. Gear does not equal skill...

I did in all honesty start off as "All F2P'' but being angry I said such things all though that is no reason to stereotype... I would like to say now even tho the heat discussion is over and it may be too little too late that not every F2P is bad... I have said it a few times that I know(seen) a lot of F2P that are VERY good. Lilihunter for example I have played against a few times and she has wrecked the team and my self (But warrior so meh) a lot of people do know how to play their class and do strive for being BiS...

I understand how it could seem to a newcomer like a simple question to ask, but considering all the pent up "24s just ruined my bg" hostility around here this place is rather like a powderkeg over such matters. xD Ah well, you live you learn.

Hopefully your further interactions in this bracket go more smoothly Like I said I don't think most people really mind 24s provided they play objectively (getting farmed is never fun) and don't try to talk down to the bracket as a whole ^_^

You're missing one aspect about your foolish WoW/RL theory.
Say these children of yours are all level 20 trials. Let's throw some of the level 24, high school teenagers on one team. (One's a prot Paladin, so maybe this guy's already in college) Which side do you think will win now? Even if these older people didn't know how to play CTF, it wouldn't be hard to punt little kiddies across the field.
Knowledge of the game has nothing to do with a distinct, unbalanced advantage/disadvantage.

I don't care if we win or lose... If we lose but we tried for example, Didn't farm Mid/GY and atleast attempted to get the flag back/protect our FC then it doesn't matter... You will always lose some games...

What I'm saying is that CTF isn't a hard game to understand the basic concepts of..I mean the name speaks for it self... It's the people that refuse to play objectively...

This was never an argument... And we ended this a while ago lol. The OP has been answered several times and you were the first one to really answer it...

This is the major mindset of the F2P's here on TI. Its just as bad as making a 24.

Alot peope seem not to understand that trial accounts are for people who are looking and browsing this game with the end result of buying this game. Blizzard did not meant for this to happen that people would quit wow and started playing F2P who do the same thing to new people like 24s doing to them, but surely had it in mind. We here at TI are putting that extra step to these trial accounts by maximizing our characters, making guides and such and not pay. This was not the intention of blizzard. All this makes the TI F2P community just as bad as the people who roll 24s. It is exactly the same in terms of doing.

I play this bracket frequently with a F2P 20 P2P 20 or 24 and the activity is the main thing wich keeps me playing this bracket. Because of this activity ive been playing alot ab's wich i never could on any of my other twinks. A big thanks to blizzard on that part.

The fact is this bracket doesnt really play like a twink bracket. It plays more like L70 pug Bgs did in live. Arena players coming in a roflstomping PVE kids in greens etc.

I played beta till Cata. And I have reopened my account twice since playing FTP. And even twinked out a 24 I had laying around. It was so boring, I ran maybe 3 bgs and logged in my FTP account. I cant imagine how boring running a 24 premade would be to play. It would be like a bunch of MMA fighters running around beating up elementary school children. To each his own but if you find that fun trust me you suck at life. Just sayin...

Yes I went 'rowdy' on purpose but all through out this thread I have spoken to people with the respect that they have given me... I came here seeking answers from ligament people. Not people like this. This thread was answered a few pages back so don't come in here, read one post and think you know what you're talking about...
