110 Quick Start Guide [BfA]

You have to complete Zuldazar1 before you can do Zuldazar2. This adds a bunch of limitations into what possible paths you can do. Whats the 3 quests that you want at 295?
Jambani Hood - "The Prophet's Ploy" - Zuldazar1
Scorching Sands Wraps - "Ending the Madness" - Voldun1
Honorbound Outrider's Vestments - "Return to Zandalar" - WarCampaign

I'm new to the paths and new to 110 twinking, trying to plan a route.

Jambani Hood - "The Prophet's Ploy" - Zuldazar1
Scorching Sands Wraps - "Ending the Madness" - Voldun1
Honorbound Outrider's Vestments - "Return to Zandalar" - WarCampaign

Yeah, unfortunately that isn't possible without doing a faction swap. If you want Zuldazar1 at 295, then Zuldazar2 also has to be 295. Same for Voldun. You may want to look at if there are second-best traits that you CAN get at 295. Or if only the best traits matter, then you would need to either faction switch, or just wear the 280 piece.

Appreciate the help.

Edit: Does this look correct?

As a 110 DH going for Mastery Stacking.

Nazmir1 280
Nazmir2 280
Voldun1 280
Voldun2 280
Jambani Hood from The Prophet's Ploy - Zuldazar1 295 Rezan's Fury or Blade Dance
Jambani Jerkin from The King's Gambit - Zuldazar2 295 Mastery Proc
Honorbound Outrider's Mantle from Return to Zuldazar - WarCampaign 295 Mastery Proc + Shield

The ilvl all looks right, not too sure about your mastery plan tho. Interested how it works out.
I'll let you guys know. I got a 280 Eyebeam piece and it said increases damage by like 750ish. But tooltip damage increased by 3kish. Kinda nuts. Might be regretting my decision.

The same thing happened on my 111 with one of those pieces. Worse comes to worse you can always use 285 pieces and get the eyebeam leggo to romp all over PvE to your hearts content. Best thing about DH is that it only takes a little bit to reroll them. Lol.

Don't forget that Eye Beam is slated to take a 15% nerf in the 8.1 patch. This is of course PTR data, so it's subject to change, but you can find the current details on Wowhead's 8.1 Azerite/Class changes page.

At first it seems terribly underscaled, but the number on Eyes of Rage trait is before any modifier is accounted for in the damage calculation.

So once you factor in agi, mastery, versa, 2pc T21, etc, it's huge. Two eyes of rage will increase your eye beam dmg by nearly 100%, making it by far the best trait, better than the haste one which seems better at first sight.

So, I'm trying to wrap my head around figuring out my path but for some reason I either can't come up with the right order, or I have but just don't feel confident that I'm right.

I want the following 3 pieces to be 295:
(Head) Bartered Vrykul Hood - Sea Scroll Quest
(Shoulder) Navigator's Mantle - Fairwind's Friends - Tiragarde 1
(Chest) Wickerwoven Robe - Storming the Manor - Drustvar 2

I'm not particularly concerned about the 280/off-set pieces.

If I'm understanding the path correctly I should be able to achieve this by doing the following:

Sea Scroll Quest*
Stormsong1
Stormsong2
Drustvar1
Drustvar2*
Tiragarde1*
Tiragarde2

Is that correct?

If you turn in the warfront quest, and leave drustvar 2, tiragarde 1 and 2 for last that should work. Then those 3 rewards should be 295... pretty sure the warfront counts as a "chapter" too.

edit- even if tiragarde 2 is inconsequential to you it should still be 295 by default.

Which warfront quest? I thought Warfronts only unlocked for L120 players?

Do you mean the BfA war campaign?

The one that gives an azerite piece after you return from the horde zone. On the ship.

edit- yeah, war campaign... sorry. Pretty sure those other 3 wont turn to 295 until its turned in.

Alright, excellent.

Thank you for the help, much appreciated.

Hey... just so you know, it looks like inevitable demise is on the block to get nerfed next patch. Only stacking to 50?

Maybe check it out if that's your plan...

might not even be a nerf really, hard to get that many stacks. But its in the notes.

Yes, that was my plan. Thank you for the heads up, I'll have a look through the notes.

As mentioned, the Warcampaign needs to be in your list of 7, and the sea scrolls should not be (sea scroll is always 295 and doesn't count towards the path). So you'll want to do Stormsong, Drustvar1, and the Warcampaign first. So something like...

Stormsong1
Stormsong2
Warcampaign
Drustvar1
Drustvar2
Tiragarde1
Tiragarde2

Thanks for the tip.

The only reason I included the Sea Scrolls quest is because it's a piece I want and I didn't want anyone to think I'd forgotten about it it.

As for the list you provided, you listed Tiragarde1 twice. Was that a typo, one of them supposed to be Tiragarde2? It doesn't ultimately matter I guess, since the piece from that zone I want is Tiragarde1, I just want to be clear.

Ahhh yeah, the second one is Tiragarde2. You can't get Tiragarde1 at 295 without also getting Tiragarde2 at 295.
