I would need to log into ptr to look at those items specifically if they can take a Relic I

Add a starter account to your main (in battle.net there should be a + starter account option)
Subscribe to that account to remove "starter" banked xp you will get.
Make sure you unlock your gametime before your sub on that account expires.
You can sub on your main and have you linked starter unsubbed fine.

You are one expansion behind live, so on Legion. Tuesday your vet account should shift to BfA, maybe? Actually I think it gets autoadded a few months after patch. At some point they bundle all expansions for everyone and you just have to buy the current if you want to level 50-60, in this case.

Allied Races are locked to your account, so if you wanted them on your vet you'd have to regrind. They removed the rep req in prepatch, so it's about to get much easier. I would just see what happens Tuesday. Ideally the free account will bundle BfA and you can go do the quests to unlock an allied race. Or the Legion ones should be available as well.

Just occured to me that this means our RBG q is no longer pure
checked PTR, pretty sure we'll be getting Gilneas, Twin Peaks, Mines, Kotmogu, Seething Shore & Deepwind Gorge in addition to ab/eots/wsg. so all of them.

What you see isn't what you can Q, you should get a join group failed on those higher ones.

Do we know if we normally get 100% mount speed at level 20 in SL? If not, do we keep 100% mount speed if we get lvl 40 prior to SL?

i made this mistake too in the other thread.
it's 19's mountspeed will be gf'd for. if you're doing 20s don't worry about it.

FYI I believe he's also referring to using "relic of the past I", which is a pretty interesting idea if it works for crafted legion legendaries. i'll be looking forward to seeing if and how that works!
