i dont know much about graphics cards (you refered to them as vid cards graphics is correct term btw)

Im not an epic computer dude but I do have a bit of general knowledge on the subject.

What exactly do you want to know?

My problem is wanting to upgrade my video card but my power supply may not be able to handle the vid cards I want. I'm not sure if any of you would know but mine as well try just in case.

Model # : HP- P250FWP
AC Input (50-60Hz) 100-127V~/6A
DC Output: +5V (this has a - line with ... under the - so I'm not sure how to type it) /22A
+12V (again same as before with weird line) /16A
+5V and +3.3V shall not exceed 150W
Max output power: 250W

is my power supply and the vid cards I want to possibly get is this and this but I'm not sure if my power supply could handle those or what the max my supply could even handle if I wanted to get a lesser version of a vid card.

Best buy workers don't know crap cause I asked them and they just shrugged and pointed me to their most expensive power supply

You might actually be OK with 250W. I've got an old system that I upgraded to a 250W PSU with slightly lower ratings than yours, and it has an ATI Radeon 9700 pro, which uses the same amount of power as the GeForce 6800.

Provided the amount of other components in the computer are similar it should work fine. My computer has 2 sticks of ram, 1 HDD, 1 DVD drive and an Athlon XP3200 processor. It also has more powerful fans fitted than stock, because the case is really cramped and the airflow is bad without them.

I wouldn't go for a 250W, personally. I would suggest a 450W at least. It's always good and safe to have more wattage than what your computer uses.

For my question: What is the best way to store wealth in your bank?

I was able to find a tower with an i7 3.2ghz processor, 12gb RAM, Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT, 1 TB HDD and a 500W PSU for $500 on craigslist. It also came with a VGA and DVI compatible monitor. Look around, cheap and good computers are everywhere.

If I make another video, should I edit it more than my previous ones?

Tauren. AoE Stun 2min CD.
