According to this druid, they only drop off of humanoid mobs. She said that she obtained her hat from murlocs in Elywnn because they have a fast respawn timer. So the answer to your question is yes, they do drop off of random humanoid mobs.

But since it's confirmed that it drops from high levels this year just as ever, and it dropped for 20s last year, I'd guess that nothing has changed. Good luck! :)


EDIT: And someone hit me with a frostbolt while Klinda answered you in haste set. ^^
And the 20 also farmed the Murlocs for it, seems like a good place. :)

Hey guys, I have a trial account that is currently linked to a p2p account. I was just wondering how I would go about transferring the titles, mounts, pets, etc to my trial account like so many of you have done. Is there some sort of process or activation I have to do? Because when I log into my f2p, there are no titles/mounts available on it.

You need to sub your p2p (or use a 10 day trial) and log into the characters that have the mounts/titles etc. to activate them on your account.
 
Hello! Wanted to create a new thread on this matter, but don't have them posts yet soooo... Having bought Diablo 3, I recently received ,,since the game you bought is really bad, we offer you to play some WoW while we're fixing it, maybe you will buy it as well'' message from Blizzard. In slightly different words, of course. Basically, I just got 30 days free time and free battlechest. So I wanted to ask, since there is no way I will play WoW p2p, what could I do with this time for my f2p toons? Thanks in advance.

First off you will need to link your battle chest with your F2P, they must be on the same b.net. Now in terms of things to do, all mounts and pets are account wide as well a most achivs. You could also boost yourself through dungeons. Another tip is you can create a DK on your battle chest using the bug, and ski leveling 1-55. Hope this gives you some ideas.

You will always be able to play your F2P and will retain all account wide stuff you obtained on your P2P. When your 30 days runs out you will not be able to log into your P2P until you sub it or add a 10-day trial.
 
I recently took the 10 day mop trial and started leveling a monk through pvp. I may have forgotten about how bad the general population is at pvp, but the capabilities of this class are phenomenal. I'm enjoying its "skill" based and positional abilities but I have a question.

Are monks considered OP?
 
It's funny how no one plays monk in pvp. Blizzard pretends like it's a good class and it's just that people just don't understand how to play the class, due to it's "high skillcap". But when the best players in the game refuse to play it, you know somethings wrong.

What is this? The best hunter player in the world refuses to play a monk? What does this mean? --Monks are underpowered?

I'm not 100% on it. I was just looking at the top arena comps (at 90), and no spec of monk is in there. I can't remember where I read it (I'm guessing a blue post), but I recall Ghostcrawler having to defend the monk class because it was so underplayed in pvp. His argument was that it was good, it was just that people hadn't learned what is was good for yet. Also, I probably read that when hunters ridiculously OP, and everyone was running Junglecleave.

So yeah. they may be underpowered, at 90, for some types of pvp. But that doesn't mean that they aren't good for anything. They just aren't in the top arena comps. Maybe all that means is that they don't mesh well with the most OP classes in top end arenas. Perhaps they are good healers in rbgs. I don't know because I'm no expert, and I don't play monk. I wasn't really speaking from personal experience; I was just repeating something I read, which was probably a mistake, given that I can't cite it offhand.

And that isn't to say they aren't good at any level besides 90. Due to the weird way scaling and such works, what is underpowered at 90 might be OP at different levels.

I'm assuming that is sarcasm. I have some, but I'm very, very casual. My main goals are getting a Ruby Panther mount and Salty title. Honestly, the whole game at 90 feels like such a job. I feel like I should get paid for raiding, as much fun as it is.

I guess the whole reason for my post was to highlight how poor Blizzard is at game design — an expansion that's main features are a class that relatively no one plays, and broken daily quests.
