This whole concept is stupid. You're good if other good players recognize YOU as a good player. Not by your win/loss ratio from an obscene amount of BGs. I've played with 20s who are probably better than 90% of this bracket's player base and they only have around 50 wsg/ab games combined, some even less. At least try to factor in some arena if you're doing something as silly as this.
 
1) tentacle shouldn't be allowed because he only has 37 ABs while you say clearly 50 is needed
2) check the numbers. the people who have premade frequently have a higher ratio. So now premading=more skill?
3) with how cata went any horde with over a 70% win ratio for WSG more then likely premaded alot and a horde with over 70% win ratio in AB premaded constantly in AB. Any win ratio over 80% should be considered an outlier where they obviously either premaded or afkd out
4) thanks for showing the numbers on how to find out who premade alot as that is all I'm getting from this list

not really with the newest modified formula.

look at the picture in the OP.

now a square root is there to make sure we use standard deviation instead of variance---which is why there was a huge gap between the best and the average.

This is obviously not working. With every change that you make in your "formula" someone goes from the top to the bottom. Pretty weird aye?
 
Just for the heck of it for some more reliable data of known puggers who have well over the required amounts of bgs. If anyone gets mad that I listed them sry.

He might be a bot because he never responds to anything I say and he premades a lot.
 
Don't bother adding more or posting an updated SS until you start from scratch on your formula. This one fails, recognize that.

Established characters with competent players behind them will almost always go Ally < AP Horde who mostly premades < Horde Pugger. Taking a square root to bring it closer to 1 doesn't fix that. Normalizing a meaningless number results in (surprise!) another meaningless number!

I paired up a couple F2Ps to reach the required number of AB games . Combining my two Vashj Ally F2P's (Mage is F2P restricted on my P2P) gives a result of 0.89. They're a combined 47-9 in AB. Combining two of my more played Horde F2Ps (AP Priest + lulzy rogue) gives 1.19. Combined record in AB: 22-25. The priest dabbled in premades, but I pugged a lot on there too.

Basically all you're doing right now is measuring AB winning percentage in a very roundabout way. Over a large sample size, Ally will have a high AB winning percentage, people with access to 15 mans will have a solid winning percentage, and people who pugged horde will have a low AB winning percentage. Basing your calculations on something as unbalanced as Cata AB completely invalidates them. If you're that convinced that WSG/AB difference is the best way to numerically determine skill, come back in a few months and only include f2p pandas/goblins/worgen.
 
Well to be fair, agu is from drakkari (non english server) i wouldnt respond if i didnt understand english either lol :p
 
you also have to take into account that ap horde premades had a 90% win ratio in cata, well thats from my experience.
