Math Breakdown: Rogue Weapons

As much as I trust you as a gras-loving person, but I'd like to see a math breakdown for this. So many running around with two slow weapons.

EDITH says:

Did a bit of my own research, not really a breakdown. Set is the same as in the backstabbing bitch link in my sig. Used the weapons named in the pic as offhands because they were the ones closely related statwise.

slowMH-fast-OH.jpg

From my subjective point of view a fast OH is better because it applies poisons faster. With 2 slow weapons I had troubles getting especially crippling on the target. Id say being able to catch up is going to deal more dmg than having a hard opener and trying to win the cat 'n' mouse game.

Thinking I got a weekly breakdown due soon . It's probably going to be destro lock this week but next week I'll start going through the rogue specs to get this stuff sorted out once and for all with stat weightings for each spec ect .

Page 1, first post, 2nd chart.

So you are combat, you look at the Combat section. It's already been determined SF if your best MH, per the chart above this one. So now we look at off-hands. Basically the less time you waste waiting for your OH to swing the more MH swings you can get. You want a 1.7 speed with high stats, like scouts or balanced.

Let me know if you see something different. I can look at this stuff 100s times and still miss things, it gets crazy.

Vultros dropped the level 7 version of ToV on my second Vultros kill.

I farmed battered junkboxes for a few hours for 2-3 days before the level 11 version of ToV dropped if I remember correctly. Was the first blue dagger drop from worn junkboxes I had.

Question, can you still get BVB this way?

You should be able to. The junkboxes haven't changed loottables that I know of.

versatility vs multi strike? or should i split them because of diminishing returns
(on ring and neck enchants)

Multistrike is deminished in pvp as you can only
get on aditional hit instead of the usual two similar to how crit is only
1.5 times . Versatility is going to be your best bet on a point for point basis . Happy rogueing

Could you give a breakdown of Goblin Screwdriver?....

It won't beat Talon of Vultros but that's a solid 2nd. Wep damage is huge, it will beat out 1 agility.

Im interested in Goblin Screwdriver being my OH instead of BHS for combat (Shadowfang as my MH), imo BHS w/ ele force is still bis (what im using now) but you also have to count swag points for using gfd gear >_>

Edit: I dont know how to test this since im a casual pleb, val want to talk in TS about it sometime?

It's easy once you have the spreadsheet set up. Just need to see what adjusting the values does to the DPS.

Snowjobs did a great job earlier in the thread showing the equivalents to 1 Agi. I'd like to see that expanded upon to include Offhand Weapon Speed.

valrends mh heartseeker oh for combat rite

For the highest damage/DPS you'll need to use Shadowfang MH and WSG dagger.
