How to one-shot boses (Vanilla up to WoD)

First of all, dont trust wowhead 100%,they are more focused on the whole articles/ads that bring in revenue than keeping the correct data records.
Second, its a intelect /agility dps trinket, logically it does not have a reason to drop for a healer spec. This is why, out of all classes only warr dk and pala dont have it on their loot table. Totem trinket is even more restricted, since its agility only.

I ran it a few times as a holy pally and did not see any drops, went googling a bit and it seems in early SL it did drops for healers but that got hotfixed, now I reroll a DH just to utilize this trinket

Like I said, outdated info on wowhead presented as up to date. I would recommend you try to get it on a class that can reliably spam an ability without cd or cast time (even better if its aoe) so you could proc it as soon as possible.

I felt the trinket has an internal cooldown of sort, it procs a lot in the first pull, then only 1 or 2 ooze through the rest of the dungeon, then again we don't need a lot to melt through the mobs

I'm not one shotting bosses with this item, but it totally one shots the trash on my level 10 guardian.

Well, have you tried the totem trinket as well? And second, at 10 I belive the bosses are as squishy as trash mobs. Also, take into consideration the trinket does less damage the closer the expansion is to legion (highest damage in vanilla, lowest in wod, and the bug stops working in legion up to SL). But even so it should still do a great chunk of damage.

I think it would take 3 procs to one shot a boss in a wod dungeon.

I think it still doing pretty good damage at legion, I'm still doing 80% total damage as a tank of the group

Since the oozes from the trinket dont show in combat log, try using a dmg metter addon, like Details, that breaks down each source of damage and see how much exactly the ooze damage is. Most of the time just beeing a good geared twink will lead to you doing huge damage compared with fellow party members.

The slime bolt damage also scales with BM Hunter mastery and talents. With like 66% mastery rating and the talents for it the slime bolts crit for like 50-60% of boss hp in WoD!

PSA: If you one shot the boss with shadowgrasp totem it won't give you kill rep, tag it first, I learned the hardway.

Can those trinkets be traded from subscripted account to subscripted account and if yes can it be traded from an eligible class to a paladin?
Still got two days of game time left and would love to get the Plaguefall trinket on my paladin. (WeylandCorp #11872 if somebody with a sub wants to help)

You may want to try:
Your friend has an eligible class toon with sub, xp off, same level as yours
1 Just 2 of you enter dungeon, kill boss and your friend trades item to you
2 If 2 of you cant clear dungeon then queue as group until item drops for your friend

The character who is going to do the trading must be at the same level and already have that ilvl gear in that slot order to be able to trade it.

If you can put together a queueable group where multiple characters fit that description who are eligible for that drop, you can force it to drop.

In the case of legacy loot, using 3 carries of a different eligibility means they can trade even if the ilvl in that slot is lower.

The trinket works on Amphitheater of Anguish in Zuldrak, Northrend... hits for 25k. They also removed the bugged Mannoroth since last week.

I was using Details for the Amphitheatre quest in Northrend... 7 casts with the three bosses, 25k damage each.
