How to one-shot boses (Vanilla up to WoD)

Seeing as coming next patch, they are nerfing all SL items,
I want to share with you guys a fun method to help you get
easier gear from those zombie brain runs of WoD or to enhance
your speedruns.
Use this trinket https://www.wowhead.com/item=178769/infinitely-divisible-ooze
It drops from last boss in Plaguefall for all clases except paladin, dk and warr.
The oozes it spawns are bugged and hit for like 40% up to 100% PER BOLT
of a boss or mob health. You can have up to 4 oozes spawned at thr same time
And they scale with versa and crit (the bolt can crit).
To enable the huge damage you need to be in BfA timeline (it will not work if you
are in chromie time). But, it only works in zones from vanilla up to wod (including some
odd zones like Timeless Isle etc.) IT WILL NOT WORK IN LEGION BFA OR SL ZONES!
Easiest way to farm wod dungeons (if you are vet) park your char near chromie, switch
To WoD timeline, queue for dungeon, then talk to chromie again and return to BfA timeline.
As pure F2P you will need some1 to sync you to Plaguefall, and to help you with the queue
for WoD.
Have fun with it until the new patch goes live on 24th, since all SL items from dungeons are
gonna be slapped with a lvl 60 requirement.

Edit: Shoutout to Kenneth SSS from xpoff discord for finding another broken trinket: Shadowgrasp Totem from De Other Side last boss. Same rules and limitations from ooze trinket apply to this one as well. Happy oneshoting!

It works in both scenarios you mentioned. I do that switcheroo because I wanted to solo queue in wod dungeons using RDF, but also br into bfa timeline for the trinket to work. If you are in a party with some1 who can queue you both in wod dungeons, you can stay in bfa timeline without switching.

It still works. As of today. Both trinkets.
Shadowgrasp totem crits for roughly 42k in tbc content. Cd reduction doesnt seem to work tho.

This can't be right. Level 60's cannot queue for Shadowlands dungeons. Only levelers in Chromie time can do them.

It had been written based on ptr info that I had at the time. Right now, its still useable, still broken, found that another trinket (totem one) is bugged in the same one and also I have two more possible broken trinkets on the wishlist (but the drop rates didnt favor me for those so I can do any testing).

No, it works only in non chromie time dungeons (vanilla-WoD)
Outside of that it's just a meh trinket, does like 24+ damage per slime

If all Shadowlands dungeon gear gets a 60 minimum level, that would mean that no leveler would get usable gear. I think somebody misinterpreted something, since only levelers are able to queue for SLs dungeons.

Maybe my explanation was poorly formed. On PTR for the patch 10.0.5 most of the items on a level 20 had the level requirement and item level changed. For items from SL DUNGEONS, farmed IN PATCH 10.0.1, they appeared on PTR with ilvl 158 and level 60 requirement. This was obviously a bug, but nobody knew at the time if that bug will also appear in the live version of 10.0.5. Given how slow Blizz fixes the bugs that affect everything that is not end game, that meant they would become unusable for a non specified period of time(again, OPINION BASED ON INFO AVAILABLE AT THAT TIME).
Since then patch 10.0.5 was pushed to live, and the items did not had the ptr ilvl bug. They are fine, usable at the moment. They still do insane damage in the conditions mentioned in the first post of this thread.

Totem doesn't work in wod dungeons but works in wotlk for me (haven't tried vanilla or bc)

Turn of chromie time, 100% works in wod, I’ve used it to farm epics for weeks.

The slime trinket or the totem one? Slime works for me on all my characters, I got totem on my rogue and it doesn't work, using it the same way as I use slime

First of all, dont trust wowhead 100%,they are more focused on the whole articles/ads that bring in revenue than keeping the correct data records.
Second, its a intelect /agility dps trinket, logically it does not have a reason to drop for a healer spec. This is why, out of all classes only warr dk and pala dont have it on their loot table. Totem trinket is even more restricted, since its agility only.
