Guild Wars 2

Can't wait to try some sPVP. Definitely dig the auto-80 and access to all gear, really lets people jump in and get a feel for all classes in max level PVP (sorta like PTR I guess).

:)

I ended up rolling a Guardian in PVE, so far it's been faceroll... tanking 3 mobs no problem. Loving it.

[...] Any idea of when theyll be done fixing their overpopulated servers? -.-

Did you sign up for email notification? I imagine they will not open any new servers--or digital sales--unless there is a visible demand. If I was in their shoes, I wouldn't do anything more until MoP releases.

Newegg claims to have physical copies in stock.

Starting to get a bit ridiculous... I mean at least let me buy it and download it so Im ready to play whenever the servers are working fine -.-

My in game handle is Arknoodle.6914, we already have a guild with 7-10 people from F2P, please send me a message in game so we can invite you and play together!

PS most of us are on Darkhaven at this time :)

How is Guild Wars 2 pvp panning out ?
From the couple of videos I watched my worry was when a group of players start brawling it out, there would be way too many spell effects on screen to be able to make out anything.

This is true; it's a bit confusing. The more I've played the better I understand the spells on screen but at first it is a bit daunting. It's no different than WoW pvp in that regard though, except that the animations are often more dramatic and involve more area of effect.

But really, after all of my years playing WoW I know exactly what a frostbolt casting animation looks like. GW2 is similar - it just takes time to learn all of the different spells.
