I must confess: I like Alliance GY campers. By that I mean that I like it when I'm rolling with my posse from <Horde Invasion> and we enter a Warsong Gulch that is an Alliance farmfest in action. Horde is down 0-2, Alliance has the flag, and the bastards are standing in our GY with 15 minutes left on the clock - shooting my fellow Hordies as they rezz (and getting no honor from it).*
We've stormed into such games, turned the situation around, and ended up snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. I take pleasure in visualizing the entire Alliance team getting so mad that mouses are thrown across the room in rage.

Often I run a 24 pally Alliance side. I designed him to be an FC. Sometimes win, sometimes lose. Every time - and I do mean every time - that we are ahead 2 - 0 over the Horde team, the call goes out.
"LET'S FARM!"
No amount of dispassionate reasoning or explaining can dissuade the little GY campers. That you don't really get honor from it in either the narrow definition of honor points or in real honor, that you get far more honor through fast wins and requeues, that farming is boring, that it persuades Horde players to AFK out and not queue up for BGs thus increasing Alliance Q times, that it ultimately harms the long-term viability of the 20 - 24 bracket. The same old lies get regurgitated about how supposedly wonderful it is to stand in, over, and below the GY of the opposing team and shot them as they rezz over and over and over...
More times than I can count I have found myself running the third flag in a 2-0 game and had Alliance player beg me not to cap. Happens so often I even wrote up a "no farming" macro and put it in my toolbar.
Alliance players, please listen: you gotta knock that shit off, OK? Just win fast and requeue. A player who gets beat wants to requeue for a rematch. A pleyer who gets farmed wants to go do something else.
*For 15 second after a player rezzes, killing him yields no honor.
