Growing and protecting and growing the 20-24 bracket

24's are in your games to carry you to wins. we all know you cant face a 7 hunter team with members who have 500hp. even 1000hp isnt enough. you should be thanking us for feeding you wins instead of trying to dumb our game down to your f2p level. dont like it? stop playing or buy wow. either way i win.
you stop playing and the bracket dies? good riddance.
you buy wow and play a real twink bracket like 29? happy to have more players.
I find it quite funny when 24;s claim this is "their bracket" when it was non-existant before the unlimited trials.
Even if they raised the limit to 25 in MOP (which won't happen), you 24's will then claim that 25's "ruined the 25-29" of yours, which you would level into because the 20-24 bracket would be dead. And which the current 25-29 bracket is dead except for weekly scheduled matches.

The 24's are a non-factor in this bracket, since pug 24's seems to evenly balanced on each side. The only issue is when a premade 24 group faces a total pug group.

lol I'm not gimping myself. I grinded for my gear. I'll just cap fast , unless I've seen you farm or guildie in group im with says you farmed a guildie before. To each their own.

Oh perfect, thanks for providing 2 examples of the first type of 24 I was discussing. Unable to understand logic and therefore impervious to argument? Check.

I hope blizzard doesn't raise to 25. I would hate leveling to 29. So rude. I would only level because 20's would miss my tickles. It funny how 20's always say its their bracket or the f2p make bracket , ummm duh. What idiot 24 doesn't acknowledge f2p make this bracket. But how many lvl 20 hate 24's yet. When I'm in bg . I get /hugs or hi honey. 90% love vs 10% hate towards me. I don't pretend to be godly or a saint either.

/tickle

I hate you because I've never gotten a /tickle...................... >:-|

i think its a "what came first, the chicken or the egg" is why F2P's claim this is "their" bracket. This bracket was non-existant before the unlimited trial.
I just wish Hunters were more balanced. Ugh. I'd rather see more 24's than more Hunters.

thinks pvp is a hug fest and want everything handed to them with the least amount of effort on their free toon?
check.

In what universe is a 20, not a 24, the one who wants things with the least amount of effort? Check your logic brah.

if its too hard for you to have fun as a 20 vs 24's, then stop playing.

some 60's choose to go vanilla only, doesnt mean its a good idea or that i should "play fair" by dumbing down my game when i come across them in bg's. f2p kids choose to not buy wow. they choose to gimp themselves. i choose to max my toon to win, but im the bad guy? get over yourself.

Inc .. Discussion in MOP.
Lvl 20 monk p2p with f2p restriction overpower and ruining bracket.

Cant please everyone, why I rolled honeybadger I try to discuss rationally then I just don't care.

/oh! its so nasty! oh, look its chasing things!

Did I say I wasn't having fun?

You're not the bad guy because this isn't a comic book.

Which part are you trying to disagree with:
Fact: The large majority of the players in this bracket are 20's.
Fact: The vast majority of said 20's have more fun playing other 20's than playing 24's
Fact: The 24's who actually enjoy even games requiring skill would have more balanced encounters as 20's SINCE THE MAJORITY OF THIS BRACKET IS 20.
Conclusion: There would be a net positive effect on the bracket if 24's rerolled to 20.

I've already said there are 24's that enjoy facerolling and that my arguments will not apply to them. I may be wrong, but I imagine you are one of them.

I can't imagine the F2P bracket being as popular as it is now when MoP comes out. Many F2P's are bored with 85 end game and can't justify spending the cash on it. When MoP comes out, I imagine many will be reactivating their account to at least experience, if not play MoP. Sure it may revert back eventually. But at first....

In other words, this bracket is busy because end game is mind numbingly boring for many,

Critster, you're worse than Duopaladin, because at least he admits why he's here. Don't bitch about the bracket when you're here breaking it. You want even matches? Roll a 20, you ass.

Who says that I am bitching and not getting even matches?

I am personally gearing and bringing an army of 24s to the bracket, both factions. Most of them will in turn bring more 24s who in turn bring more 24s. The tidal wave is coming. You say it ruins the bracket. The fact is that is yet to be determined. The truth is if we get enough 24s we may even save it. 20s have something like the sword of Damocles hanging over them. Blizzard at any time could end the program.

Have a nice day. See you in WSG. :D

Great suggestion! With those BG spy addons you could just figure out how many 24's the other team had right at the beginning and then decide if you need to gimp yourself. I'd say 2nd set should be gear that puts all stats slightly below the level of BiS 20 twink (slightly below to compensate for the hit issue 20's have on you).

Hell, I might do this with my twink 20 given some of the weak PuGs I've fought! Equipment manager makes this so easy. Ooooh, and that means a 2nd transmog!

Thoughts Critster? I know you're working on pure 24 10v10's but right now you must be doing almost all partial premades and PuGs. You could still premade with your guildies without being crazy OP!

This idea of changing gear is not new. Some of us, including me, prepared for that. Very, very few want to play down to an opponent. The question of who of the team would change gear and who would not and when along with how doe you deal with new players enter a game...it just gets to messy. Additionally, in the games we play often our team has less DPS and healing yet we win. It really is not about the 24s owning 20s. Both sides have them. Superior teamwork prevails. The allies just need to start playing the objectives rather than camping the Horde graveyard. The allies are so used to camping our gy we laugh as we see them waiting under it while we run flags even when none of us are dying....and it is not so much the 24s but the 20s. The sighs of relief we get from players of all levels in the bracket when they see us and the hope for a game where they are not "farmed" and they might actually win are a regular occurring event. I play both factions and prefer Horde as they are much less inclined to camp the gy and a good argument will win them over. Getting allies to not "farm" has been nearly impossible.

With instant queues, team mates relieved to see us, 6-7-8 minute wins, catching up to an Ally premades for tough matches, laughing at one track minded Allies hanging out under our GY despite none of us dying, we are having WAY too much fun as we gear up and prepare for 10v10 activity. With all the Ally ranged DPS we face, few if any of us want to switch to inferior gear.

The EXACT same people who play Horde play Alliance. You prefer Horde, so you seem to truly believe that fewer Horde than Alliance camp. This, however, is entirely untrue. Because the EXACT same people play both factions, the amount of farmers and the amount of people who refuse to stop farming is *almost* EXACTLY the same.

Doesn't make sense.

Only Alliance farms. Nobody plays both factions. oO

You are clearly biased. Go back to your Ally GY farming Lich.

On a related note:

Also I like the word camp and got someone to type /camp one time in WSG. Is that mean?

It depends, were you trying to get them to afk the bg, or were you trying to invite them to a super fun camp party out in the woods?

If it was the second one, then yeah it was mean.

Super fun camp party of course. Also, /camp does nothing malicious. It only does amazing things. Try it everyone in your next WSG!

Go on. Do it.

I can't believe you'd tell me to do that, when Iv'e never even had the pleasure of doing a bg with you :( I'm hurt, right here.

(You can't see it, but I'm pointing to my left knee)

I have no idea what you are talking about. It only does good things.

I feel hurt.

I guess now we are even...
