Interesting, I don't have either of those weapons on my enha. What would you recommend as the stat prior and how many tbc blues would you use.

Sounds like great fun - enhance was my first toon ever back in tbc so it's always been close to my heart.

My favourite time for enhance 2 hander was MOP; with ascendance you could crit 200k+ on full pvp geared players. Stormstrike was still usable.

Unfortunately until the 49ilvl weps are changed I'm reluctant to return to this bracket.

Agility is always the best stat, however you don't get Crusader like Ret/Warrior so stacking Talasites comes at a huge cost :p it's just a rough go... depending on your healer, you probably need some extra hp, but again you will eventually start facing i49/Bramble hunters and it wont matter what you do because they can just play with their toes and beat you.

i49s are far and few, the only real weapon that is causing the problems is the Bramble Staff.

Update on spellhance build. The superior impact chant is more effective than the agi.

I'm going to gem all +3 agi and use elk tusk (unless there is a better mastery think?) And haste/mastery/vers dragonling. Might do eng helm w crit and haste cogs too.

Edit: I am just starting on it and not allot of gear rn but it looks promising to turn out to be just regular bad and not unplayibly bad at the very least.

I did some tests on my EU shaman. He's not well geared yet, but I compared spell damage of lighting bolt/frost shock as enhance, vs elemental. Elemental with ilvl34 artifact and enhance with Bramble. All the gear was without agi or int gems, so pretty even. Not the best test, but it is what it is.

First, I was surprised that enhance would hit decent lighting/frostshock numbers. They were higher than I expected, bramble staff is doing some work. That said, elemental hit about the same numbers, and has no CD on frostshock. WF procs are of course pitiful. Maybe it could be interesting if bolt/frostshock scaled a lot better at higher levels of gear with enhance? I'll have to take a look at the spell ratios. But other than that, meh, doesnt seem worth it.

I'll mess around with it some more when I'll have more gear, but that's not happening soon.

I tried it again, for just casting Elemental Blast, LB, Flame Shock and Frost shot... Bramble staff is beat out quite a bit by just putting +4 weapon damage main hand and +7 attack power off hand on any weapons... plus if you go further and use weighted stones instead of windfury/flametougue you get even more.

Blizzard has just made using a two hander unplayable, even one OP as the bramble staff.

Yeah what I am expecting from what I have seen so far is that it will probably end up with similar spell dmg on shocks and lightning but have access to elemental blast that is hitting legitimately hard while losing freecrit lavaburst and no CD shock. I don't think it will compete w dmg from ele but hipefully it will not be incredibly far off. I am using a darkiron and when I pop racial and tusk I hit some legit dmg numbers for the gear I currently have. Even if it turns out overall unimpressive ( and it likely will) it looks like it can be strong inside of on use windows.

The problem with mastery for enhance is that Stromstrike and elemental force enchants are uneffected. so when you pop mastery trinkets you are doing a little more with a flame shock and a little more on a lava lash (and its horrible cooldown)... its not the same as popping them on a warrior and just doing flat more damage.

The agility procs are just better.

fireflash dream and tbc shoulders, chest, gloves, belt, legs and boots have been fun. Boots and belt come from quests ofc. (Auchenai Boots and Tarren belt). I use Blackout Truncheon offhand though with ef.

Yeah. I think elemental blast is crucial because it doubles on a critical strike... should be able to get it up wards of 2k on a crit... and flame shock should be able to get up there as well. I would just stack mastery as much as you can on items.

I've been trying it with +25 mastery neck and rings. I might get the trinkets you suggested to see what happens.

I do find it funny that I'm overly excited about a 2k crit, when that is actually dog shit in the current meta. :D

Tested a rough version of the bramble staff enh build (no mastery enchants and no ilvl 28 mastery gear), its surprisingly decent. It wont beat being able to use stormstrike and lava lash, but i average around 220 dps just casting elemental blast with ele force, lightning bolt, flameshock and the occasional frost shock.
    TLDR, actually decent meme build.

It's ok, but not when a warlock can do it with one button, and you are using a weapon that other wise cripples your overall damage and takes 2 trinkets to achieve. Still cool I agree.

To make it clear - warlocks life is not that easy as ppl might think. Interrupt of chaosbolt = spellock to all magic schools = now you fucked up (c). Its not that easy to freecast smth if ppl actually trying to sit on my face and believe me they trying to do it way too often. It is the only reason why im running SF nowadays - its hella good way to get kicked into fire school so you have 2 more open :) I'd like to see some enhance big crits btw, cuz i've never seen such amount of damage you are talking about (not doubting that it is real).

I remember when at the beginning of SL I started with the Enhacement shaman and many did not believe that he had potential until he beat the 1v1 very easily and quickly, the Enhacement shaman is a mistake to think of him as a warrior or as a rogue, either way you must understand that he is a support class, able to help your team with healing, cc etc, in addition to support with a very good DPS. I am currently playing MoP as Starter Edition and I think that after this expansion the bar was set very high for most classes because it was not until after 5.4.8 that the viable classes began to be reduced as is the case with all expansions from WoD onwards.

If you stack all mastery and go with + weapon damage and + attack power enchants you can get up there... especially with the trinkets. If you go with elemental force and BC gear it wont make it, that is just overall middle of the road damage that is almost 40-50% reliant on counterstrike totem for overall damage. If you want to go full nuke, it costs the cash or farming time to get "savant" gear... but again, its still just for enhancement so................. you are not great regardless.

The entire purpose of the post outside of the bramble staff was to mainly point out that you can get to the 100k damage bar using really any build (I'm sure you could even do it with vibroblades). And again, where I get that enhance is support... we all really want to do something impressive damage wise regardless... 100k is just a good solid mark for "Look, mom, I did it!"

I just made an all talasite build with 5000 hp and 33% versatilitiy using the tidefury crap... again... counterstrike totem is the real gas... so it can also do 100k... you just do less "bursty LOL damage".
