Fun with Enhancement builds

Personally, I avoid mastery like the plague. I try to go balanced between the 3. With highest value on haste/procs. And you get a decent amount of crit through the TBC-socket gear and desolation. If you look at my shammy.

However there might be breakpoints where mastery is more valuable. When you have like 25 crit and 20 haste +procs and about 25 vers. I would assume that mastery becomes more valuable then vers then, but mastery sadly doesent increase dmg on stormstrike, since thats physical.
Right, that was my complaint. I want fat ass stormstrikes. This is what I'm working with right now, I have some boes to equip and socket still, but I'm loving how it feels. Pretty standard build.

The mog is jacked up, and I still need to do my engineering https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/us/malganis/shammywompus

I would also go for some talasites, or else you got no midgame against all these hunters, full glasscannon works against levellers but against other twinks youll get dumpstered.

I'll probably put them in cloak neck and rings. That way I don't have to farm 1 set for ele and 1 for enhance lol

Been trying to find info how OH work for Enh. Seems it’s a factor for some spells/attacks and not others.

According to https://www.wowhead.com/enhancement-shaman-guide
“but equipping a Dagger or Shield disables the use of some melee abilities such as Stormstrike, so is not recommended.”
I didn’t know this about daggers. Some seem good as stat sticks, but the fast speed means low damage generally, right? Does speed of the OH matter?

Lava lash factors off attackpower in the OH, right?

In researching OH, I came across this discusssion about 2H enh (I’m not interested in it, unless say spellhance can be made to work). However, this ‘Bubblies’ poster seems knowledgeable, and really bashes the shaman coders for being unable to make the class work. Several point out that shaman are the least played class.

However, according to http://www.warcraftrealms.com/quickstats.php
...inasmuch as we can believe the data, on PvP servers the class demographics are very different...e.g. shaman at 7% vs pallies at 6%. The class distribution is def more uniform.

Afaik, the dmg on stormstrike is factored by max dmg of mh wep. So it accounts speed of the weapon aswell. Therefore weapons like cudgel of naralex is worth. I myself prefer haste proc items, like bladefist and truncheon. But offhand does not seem to matter as much. Correct me if im wrong, as long as you have flametongue on.

I would just use mace/axe/fist tbh.
