Enhancement has been the most fun I have played out of all the classes in SL so far. You arguably get the widest range of playstyles in any given BG. It obviously has the same downside as any class in SL right now... all damage is super high and survivability without heals is low, BGs are basically a day care center for survival hunters, etc. I don't like putting a number on usefulness, BUT the builds below are all ones that I have broken 100k damage on. While that is not really a bar, it does show they have the ability to do so if you get the right game/circumstances. You should still wrap up most games with off healing of at least 20-30k plus that was NOT on yourself. You also have a pretty tight suite of abilities to do some major peeling for healers, even if that is just slowing or dropping a counter strike totem and going full ham... do it, because that is what you are in a BG for... global support. Note: Counterstrike totem is unfortunately the only PvP ability worth taking. It is beyond powerful and often leads to the most "LOL, WTF just happened?!" moments out of any class/spec ability in SL, period. *** Haste Proc: This build goes for maximum haste using 7 procs. Recommended gear would be maximizing haste in all slots to just “do more - faster”. Haste upwards of 100% can happen regularly. Downside proc based. Recommended talent: Forceful Winds. Hurricane enchant on both weapons, The Blade Fist, Blackout Truncheon, Enraged Dimetrodon Fin, Rezan’s Gleaming Eye, Thundering Skyfire Diamond. *** Melee Proc: this build goes for getting double attacks off 3 specific items seeking to maximize Windfury procs. Recommend gear would be Haste/Mastery Focused for increased Windfury chance. Downside procs are on the low side. Recommended talent: Forceful Winds. Elemental force on both weapons recommended for max damage output. Flurry Axe, Ironfoe, Hand of Justice *** Agility Proc: this build goes for maximizing damage output though 5 agility procs. Recommended gear would be Verse/Mastery for maximizing big hits. Downside – proc based. Recommended Talent is Elemental Blast as they can get quite big with enough agility. Dancing Steele Enchant on both Weapons, 4 piece Desolation Shaman Gear for the Agility Proc, “Reliable Threat Assessor”/Grondo’s Eyepatch/Giantstalker’s Guile *** Big Hitter: – this build goes for the biggest hits possible using a 3.60 weapon speed main hand. Would maximize Verse/Mastery for the biggest hits. Recommend Talent is Elemental Blast as they are quite large with the Headcracker/Verse/Mastery. Mok’Morokk’s Headcracker (+weapon damage enchant), Claw of the Watcher (+attack power enchant) - This is the only build where I would used weighted stones for +weapon damage instead of windfury/flametougne for big hits. *** Full Crit: this build, just tries to get your critical strike to 50%+ inside a BG. Requires +25crit rings/neck. +2 agility / +2 crit gems, Goggles with 2x Crit Cogs + Tense Unstable Diamond. Elemental force Recommended for maximum damage. Recommend Talent would be Elemental Blast, as the crits are quite nasty. *** Mix and Match Random gear: Throw on any random gear and make wild boasts to everybody that you have found THE BiS build and then falsely report that you preformed precise in game calculations about all pieces interacting harmoniously with each other that have officially turned you into the Malestrom's number one stunner. *** I have not accomplished this yet, but this is one I do what to try badly. Bramble Staff: Elite Spellhancement No-Melee. +17 agility enchant. Maximize Mastery in all slots for bonkers Elemental Blast/ Lighting Bolt damage, +25 Mastery Rings, etc. Full retard.
