do you have updated chardevs that work with the mop version?
you may have posted them somewhere in here, but didn't see them on a quick skim.
i had an ally character (druid) that i was playing around with that i was just going to delete, but this sounds like something worth keeping him around for.

I'm supposed to be the guy about the chardevs here, so I'll try to point you in the right direction. We do not have updated chardevs for mop because the latest version of chardev doesn't display the random enchantments for cogspinner goggles, which are almost invariably best in slot for almost all classes. If you want I can slap together an annotated chardev for the spec(s) you're interested in. Druid tanks as far as I know don't really stack up to warriors, and the arrival of monks really pushes them out if the limelight. Moonkins lost their spirit to hit talent, which essentially dropped their viability down with the other raw hit casters. Druid healers are very good, able to solo heal tanks and rival priests. Monks might knock them down a bit as well, but they're more than viable. Feral dps is what I would recommend over all. They have frequent instant cast healing touch casts, great bleed damage and overall some very cool utility. It's a ton of fun, hope you decide to come along.

In terms of myself, I haven't been on this week much, we're finishing up the quarter so I've been in a bit of a hassle to find recreational time. I will be on for a raid this weekend which will happen. Im going to start my little forum gear guide. I'm starting with clothies since they dont use cogspinners, so I'll be able to make some ready to go chardevs for them. I'll send them off for the fifty site as soon as they come out. One last thing is congratulations thirk, that's a great thing in life and I hope you're both happy and will be. Haha can't really give you a tangible wedding gift but I am willing to take a leadership role if need be. Have fun out there guys.

I'm going to make the chardevs and send them for use on the fifty website. However these chardevs will just be the absolute bis items and not contain any alternate items (such as non heirlooms), discussions on viability, roadblocks, race selection, or pvp builds. I'm going to be making a thread in the 50-59 forum here that will have all of these things and more.

Looking forward to it. I would make them myself but I'm waiting on chardev to fix themselves up before posting it all up.
 
Just using the opportunity to show off my new profile pic or whatever that thing is.

On to more serious matters, Edwaaardo will now officialy be handeling instructing new recruits on what gear to get, he seems to have shown some real intrest in thata spect of the project and myself and Thirk believes he suits the role perfectly. So please if your palnning on gearing up your guy contact Edwaaardo fro any advice/chardevs for your guy.

In the next few days expect a surge of videos being uploaded, we have started our youtube channel and are currently making it look good etc. Expect the first videos to not have amazing editing but as time progresses we are hoping to have a proper intro to the videos and some proper editing. And once we are done releasing all our best boss kill fights we will go back and fix up earlier videos.

Focus on Resto since we realy need healers at the moment but for sure you'll be able to go Feral in raids when we have enough healers :)
Also gearing a healers is simple enough at the moment (we cloth is) also if you roll on Spinebreaker or change over we will be able to assist you in gearing/chanting the only problem is BoA's.

Yeah at first but we should have him go feral as soon as possible. I think feral will be invaluable in our raids. They proc instant cast, free healing touches just by attacking. You can make a focus macro to cast it in a tank without deselecting your current target. The heal itself is almost as powerful as one from a resto too because of their agi to spellpower passive. Also in chardev I got 880 attack power without cogspinners, so their dps will be more than fine. It's just an amazing class atm.
 
Oh yea I agree with you 100% I have played a feral druid before and I know they will be worth while, that is assuming teh damage is high enought though.

I played feral in TBC, first spec I ever played, so I think I know vastly more than you on the subject.
I think that maybe they could even beat my 250 ret dps. That's a high benchmark though. Your picture is a little small, and lacks Mr. T. All sentences above this are sarcasm, but you can't write that. And what's vote for mvp? I tried to click on it and appearently I voted you mvp. So you're welcome.

Yeah that's a great intro. I can't get on my actual computer, but I can raid tomorrow. I'll be working on my guide from my phone. Can't do the chardevs, but the text is the most labor intensive part.

100th post!
Thanks doop, all in a day's work. Just finished the druid section, jesus christ. So much to say. This will be a long process, but I'm up for it. I had to go back and swutch stuff up after I realized you don't have innervate anymore. Haha, so ready to sleep.
Progress report: finished hunters, started on mages. Going a lot faster than druid since I can combine info about the specs. Monks are up next though, so that'll be a lot of writing.

Was really hoping to raid tonight. We need to start raiding again. No one will show up if the raids aren't announced on twinkinfo and I think we need a calender somewhere. I'll go make some chardevs.

That got so intense at the end haha. Really like that. Was that a pally tank as well? All in all a great video. I think that needs repeating.

That was extremely good. The whole thing was epic, including the music. I'm sure stuff like that will attract a ton of people. Great job

And yeah edwaaardo I wish I was there for that :(. I think I was having computer problems or something when you guys killed him. Very close kill, just shows people that the fights are difficult which I think will appeal to a lot of people.
 
Yeah, I think the music really caught the whole emotion of the fight very well, especially near the end and the very beginning :)
I never thought the music would make such a difference but I think in the end it made the video, it really didn't feel complete until I put the songs in.

Was the intro music too sudden? I tried to time it so the heavy part started when we finally aggro'd.
 
The music was fine. I swear your signature gets longer every time I see it. But once again, that needs to be repeated. Title the video "world's second 50 ossirian kill ft. Bubbleblowin"

Okay twink info. That was the fifth time I've tried to edit the post for enhancement shamans. Each time when I clicked save changes they magically disappeared. Thinking it was my phone being annoying, I tried on my computer, only to have the same issue. If you guys don't want to learn about shamans thats fine by me. I'm done. Maybe you'll be a bit more mature in the morning.
