US FIFTY - Classic Raiding done right - We need YOU!

Well that explains why thelse has a deep hatred of the spec. Haha just kidding social. But I'm the closest thing we have at the moment to a fury warrior in the project, and I just used a fury warrior in one pvp night. Your fears are unfounded and discriminatory, Thelse. Racist. You make Pubbly look like a saint.

In other news, I put up a build for resto druids that galliw and others should check out. It's got 12.5% haste, which is a crazy increase to druid healing due to adding some ticks to their abilities. We need a shadow priest now too because if we have resto druids with 12.5% haste, at 17% haste they get even more ticks of things, so it would be greatly beneficial to have one, even if it's just someone multiboxing a guy in shadowform.

On that note I've been working with more haste breakpoints for healers and the casters that can afford it. Resto shamans, if grouped with a shadow priest or boomkin, can get one more tick of riptide by switching out a couple pieces of gear. Shadow priests themselves can sacrifice a small amount of either hit or spellpower to get one more tick out of all of their dots. Priests need 12.5% haste to get one tick of renew, which even with the raid buff is not worth it. I am yet to see numbers on mistweavers and holy paladins, but I'm sure they can get something(paladins less so). I'll keep messing with builds.

You missunderstand me I dont hate fury warriors im just annoyed how we have 2-3 fury warriors pulling 200-400dps, meanwhile from earlier raids we know hunters are capable of hitting 800-1000dps, just we have none of them.

Haha. Well I think that the non priest healers should check the guide out and read how haste breakpoints affect your spec. I plan on having me a shadow priest (my favorite dps class) to give you all the haste buff you need to pull bigger numbers but only if you guys take the opportunity. That means changing up some gear.

it is just me or are the chardevs on the first page all blank.

They are very old and Thirk hasnt updated them..... ever, they wernt correct abck in Cata and I dont think they are 100% rigth for Panda, just use Edwaaardos chardevs.

I think he needs to just take those out and link the guide. Nothing like "my guide is superior to everything" but people keep trying to use those and they don't even work anymore.

But until we get into 40 man raiding and need the haste buff I'll probably be on my pally. Or FURY PVE. Not really.

I'm curious about shockadin being a possible choice. Can it be done x-realm or is it required to be in Spinebreaker?
Shockadin is a pretty cool spec. I assume you've read the gear guide. Feel free to try it out. Just don't be disappointed if it isn't viable.

You can roll on whatever server you want through the magic of cross server summoning stones. You just will have to level your own professions, get your own heirlooms, buy your own boe gear, etc.

Ok please dont rol la shockadin, im warning you now testing on my priest with spell hit has been terrible, I reached 50% hit through stacking spirit and hit and on 60 dummies i was hitting 50% of time (that was good) until I tested it out on an actual raid, for whatever reason I was hitting trash 10% of the time and bosses 30% of teh time. Warnign anyone that wants to roll a spell dps class that it is just not viable. Panda was meant to fix this but ended up making it worse so we are still telling people that non spell casting dps are best.Notoriushtf if you do roll this shockadin you wont want to play him due to extremly low hit rates and im talking about less than 100 dps (if that).

Spell hit just doesn't make sense. It should be ~34%. Thats what they said it would be, expertise cap plus the mHit cap. I seriously want to know what is going on that makes it so wonky.

Spells will never work for our purposes, sad but true :(. Spell hit cap isn't 34%, it's like 100% lol

U tried living steel weapon chain too?
and actually quite sometime ago blizz had said that they wanted to keep low levels from being able to beat up high levels.

We can use this chain on heirlooms and for some reason in Mists expertise grants spell hit, so capping might be in our future guys. Can someone test this out?

Edit:
Okay guys I've seen on several credible websites that expertise increases spell hit and that living steel weapon chain work on heirlooms. The spell hit increased by expertise thing isn't working in chardev(damn you chardev), but I put in a weapon with equivalent hit as the weapon chain + staff of jordan into it and it increased hit by over 30%. Mages could still miss and such, but for Spriests, Ele shams and Shockadins, your hit could reach 75% easily.
Here's our Shadow priest build with a weapon roughly equivalent to the amount of Spell hit you would have, bar the other stats:

Edit #2
I just looked in game and expertise increased my spell hit. And thelse I don't know what you're talking about, I put on a set that got me 35% hit and hardly missed any spells on the 60 dummy.

Blizz announced it since beta was released. It was originally intended to allow spells to be dodged, but it didn't work as intended. So they made expertise add into spell hit. It became much easier for shaman, rogues and pallies to spell hit cap, too, so they just made it happen.

So yeah, you want pyrium mh and living steel oh on your shaman and rogues?

No pyrium on rogues. Mongoose main hand always. That expertise is going far though.

But that changes the viability of every single non healing class we have. Accept hunters and probably titan's grip fury and non assassination rogues, sorry guys. Ret paladins with that could land almost all exorcisms and use the arms warrior gear, polished legplates of valor aren't best in slot anymore, and edgemaster's handguards are probably bis for shockadins.

This sounds great guys, Edwaaardo I said that spell hit on dummies is good but go into an actual raid and it ssuddenky goes down to like 10% in some situations.

With 75% hit I dont think we'll have such problems haha. This is great. Mages can get 60% hit, so can warlocks and moonkins and all those guys that we've really ignored recently. The only downside to this is every dps pretty much must have heirlooms. It also means editing most of my chardevs and guides.

mmm please before you start tellign peopel to roll these classes do some moore research, what I know is with 50% hit, I was hittign 10% of the time on some trash so 75% may still be not enough. Do some testing yourself in raids before you tell people. Im olinen if you want to do some now.

I'm on my phone right now, I can't get to my computer. I'm not about to run around telling people to roll warlocks, I'm just so excited for the possibilities.
