EU+US F2P 8.0 Discussion

Thats how my Primal Flamesaber came, but I remember specifically having to ask for the Hearthsteed maybe... a month or so before the Legion prepatch? Thats about the time I really started working on this whole thing.

Interesting. Maybe you just happen to get it while they were ironing out the kinks.

It’s funny, we are actually kind of balanced which is what everyone has been asking for, for years. That different play styles (passive, aggressive, focus different stats) would be viable and not have one path be the only way to go.

Now they pretty much balanced and people are losing their minds trying to figure out what is BIS. What is the BIS talent, MH weap, enchants, etc,

When it really just depends on how you want to play.

Not saying that there are no BIS choices anymore, but there sure as heck a lot of different ways to gear and play your class.

Aka for every non legion twink: twinking is back!

Now, granted, I've only played enough PvP to just now ding honor lvl 2 but... yea

BGs are pretty balanced. I'm digging it. Even running into chanted 29s isnt too terrible. I mean, you're gonna lose but it doesnt really feel as hopeless as it used to.

Twinking is in a really good spot, guys. Im excited for this xpac

So far won 1 BG and lost 11.

Pretty much each one was 80% hunters and rogues who were absolutely destroying everyone.

Still doing pretty low damage on my rogue on all three specs in respectable gear.

Fury and Arms both did pretty good damage and was able to hold my own and do alright.

5 of those games were grave yard farms and not even premades.

Remember the dope shirt that we're able to get now from Impus. It's gonna be alot harder to obtain once BFA hits.

You can't solo it because it includes killing a level 110 elite creature in order to catch the right fish you need for a short period of time.

Is it me, or is BfA unwittingly promoting cross-bracket PvE co-operation? (Mainly between lowbies and 110s)
I have been seeing a lot of new cool stuff opened up to low level players on the same scale that MoP delivered PvE content available to lowbies.

Oof, another 7 BGs, another 0 wins and getting steamrolled. 4 of which everyone left after about 3 minuets when it turned into a GY farming.

And only one of the total of 18 I've done has been a premade. D:

Thats one thing Ive noticed is that, while the classes seem rather balanced the games dont. I havent had a close game since the xpac, win or lose.

Though, I must say, Ive certainly had much better luck than 1-18. Eeeeesh. Hopefully it turns around. I'll prolly have time to group que some BGs this weekend, if you want to. That way if we lose, we can at least make sure its fun.

It's weird, the one win was completely balanced. No one really dominated. Everything felt balanced.

Oddly enough, I've had mostly wins prior to this and seen many complaining about Alliance dominating games.

The rest I've just run into a lot of really stacked 29s, mostly hunters and rogues. I will say, while it's still a far cry from the days of having ambush hit like a train and take people out, rogue is a lot improved. Even without the enchants, the damage is a lot better. I've done pretty solid as fury, as well.

I always prefer roug, but after patch i roll furry.. And with one pocket-healer its turn to just massacre.. Feels like Unstopable machine..

Also yes, now i had also line of bgs and its mostly one-sided.. Also some CC roug duo or 5x huntard (mostly new fotm MM) can crush your joy from game..

Man, we've had wildly different experiences. I barely see hunters, it feels like. Seen a bunch of arcane mages just TRUCKIN folks though. And just buckets of feral druids who dont really do much of anything but melt the first time theyre touched.

And fury... man fury is delicious this patch. Its so much fun. It feels just right. Its strong but not broken. Its dynamic. It feels high energy. Im hyped on it. I dont see myself playing much of anything else until that changes.

Fury has been hitting consistently, and I don't feel rage starved at all like it used to be. Not enormous crits or anything like you'd see from Aimed Shot or Arcane Blast, but enough consistent big hits to do pretty good.

Without a double charge or heroic leap, gap closing can be a real chore with druids and hunters, though. Only complaint, really. But that's to be expected at low levels against kiting classes.
