TBH I'd almost rather have a good looking mog than a few extra stats, but thats my opinion. I already have the Best ilvl stuff on most of my toons(except Legion invasion stuff) so I might as well use those sets.

What? I thought we were to get all the stuff we had? I was hoping to get the Dissector back. I did that quest a long time ago but it isn't around anymore and I kicked myself after I got rid of it on my rogue. I thought we would get all that old stuff back if we had it at one point? I'll be spitting blood if that's not the case

Either I'm not reading what you wrote correctly or you don't understand how the new TRANSMOG UI works. You don't "get back" anything, you are just allowed to use the skin of that item as Transmog. There is no actual item mailed to you or placed in your bags once Legion hits.

Sorry for the confusion. What I meant is like you said I want the skin of it back. I sold it off and lost the ability to mog it, but I'm hoping it comes back with Legion (the skin) so I can mog it once again. I had it on a 24 twink some years back and sold it when I levelled the rogue to 94 as I thought I would get better mogs. It's GF'd as far as I'm aware but because I had it I should be able to mog it in Legion. I was just worried from @Gokku's comments that we don't get all those mogs back.

I ended up with a ton of transmog options for my twinks which I was quite happy about. I personally like the new transmog system but yes it has its downfalls. Main one, not being able to tmog other armor types than your main one.

Yes you SHOULD get all those Mog skins back for, at the least, everything you have gotten as Quest reward that your Class can equip with the new Armor Rules as well as any other Characters on the same Account that are also the same Armor Type, short of Class specific items like Shaman gear on a Hunter. Wether that'll actual work come Live is another question.

You won't get them. Its like when boas entered the tab it is in now, you must log on the character and it must be in your possession i.e. Void storage bank bags, if you don't have it you won't get it in the mog tab

Now, what Blizz says and what Blizz implements are often 2 different things but even Wowhead has stated, from a Blue post, that all previous Quest rewards that honor the new Armor types will be in your new Transmog UI when 7.0 hits.

I know for a fact that Blizzard can't track old quest rewards that were deleted more than ~three months ago. (They also can't track whether the quest ever was completed or not, if it's been removed.)

You should try open several tickets and ask for item restoration as it is a quest reward. Got back some "long time ago deleted items" this way. If was few years back when they restored it but still you might get lucky strike.
