In bg you play for time. If you can waste time of 3 players trying to execute you for a minute or two, it is a good thing.
I remember one Arathi Basin fight where I was being chased by two DKs and pally (good dmg but not that smart) as an Arcane Mage. That chase was an eternity (grip, ice block, blink, slow, invis, displace..) and we ran together around whole fkin map. In the end they got killed by my team. Next time they met me, they were like "Thats not worth it" and ignored me.
i am quite the opposite .. once i lock in on an enemy player .. i hunt him for the whole few days .. usually when they see me in the game, they stay close with their team, they dont dare to venture far from his team mates .. but nevertheless i usually go straight into their group for that player alone, for some apparent reasons the players i hunt knows i am after them, just them, and usually they will not appear after a few bgs

I imagine some people have an aversion to seeing a death on their scoreboard.
And really, there's typically not much to be gained by eating a rez timer. We aren't manning barricades on Rue Soufflot here, heroic sacrifice in the face of overwhelming odds isn't often a thing on a CTF or King of the Hill map.
I mean, there's something to be said for baiting a couple of people into chasing you across the map or in buying your FC a few moments with a sacrifice CC but more often than not more is gained by staying alive
that is exactly true .. to kill me alone, a number of their players need to be there, it buys time for my team fc

Of course
i always flee and pussy out never try to 1v3 but jump kids instead
typically attempt(but still fail hehe xd after all these years) to play like a retarded rogue/stealth druid
best way to play in randoms
and then feel good about yourself
Some kids(and i mean alot) literally only come out of stealth once their long CDs recharge (idk how they have the patience to literally sit 5-15 minutes in stealth nonstop I have to give them props for that) or when the opponent is down to like 1/3 hp.
I usually keep tabs on all enemy stealth in bgs and when i see one that hasnt died yet or hasnt came out of stealth( in like 5-6 mins still 0-0 on board or 1-0 or something) I will try to to find it and burst it before it can /afk or something
i am not sure if blizz reduce the stealth ability .. rogues are such easy prey these days .. when they have little health left they stealth and after a few seconds they appear again .. and when they appear they are within such short distance away .. i think blizz killed rogues for good with this stunt .. i have a 70-80% kill rate on a fleeing rogue who goes stealth .. normally if i have no target in the bg, i look at scoreboard and see which enemy player has not died once yet, and i will make him a target

Never!
And I seriously hate people who leave base in AB when they see incoming that they cannot beat. Just delay them for fuck’s sake..
its like some players are really afraid of adding "death" tolls to their score .. players with this mentality are weak cos they have "fear", usually they cant fight thats why they need to minimise their number of deaths, a true fighter takes on 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 without batting an eye, its not stupidity, it is heroism lololol

How are you gonna flee if you know you're gonna die. If you know you're gonna die, you're gonna die. But there's nothing wrong with retreating if the situation calls for it. Rather spend 5 seconds recovering, than a full ress timer at the GY that can also put you out of position for a long time. Sometimes sacrifices are necessary too. Trading a life for EFC trinket to then get the kill on next push isn't a bad decision, or defending a base till backup arrives.
yes .. its like when a warrior is down to their last 5 or 10% health when they realise the whole time they are not even hurting you 2% of your health, they leap .. they know they are going to die, because his health keeps going down and yours remain at max
