Dont need more haste then 33 % and iam hit caped bascily i have missed 1 scorch in 1 whole icc raid :D
Important haste percentages:

Fire;

15% = 1st additional tick of Pyroblast, 1st additional tick of Living Bomb, 2nd additional tick of Combustion
37.5% = 2nd additional tick of Pyroblast, 2nd additional tick of Living Bomb, 4th additional tick of Combustion
45% = 2nd additional tick of Pyroblast, 2nd additional tick of Living Bomb, 5th additional tick of Combustion
55% = 2nd additional tick of Pyroblast, 2nd additional tick of Living Bomb, 6th additional tick of Combustion
65% = 3rd additional tick of Pyroblast, 3rd additional tick of Living Bomb, 7th additional tick of Combustion

Really. I'd aim for at least 37.5% haste, if not more (amaya was simming fire with 50% haste including the 4set bonus has highest dps for the spec)

But that doesn't count the increased SP. Hit means you can get more crit/haste elsewhere (more itemisation = more dps), and using the 308 gloves gives +65 mastery/+50 haste enchant, which is more than 28 SP (best offset piece if you're not arcane)

For the gloves i want the crit and you dont need the haste really it's basicly only the combustion you need to get over 40k ignite to get dps and then so much sp + crit chance you dont need more then 30 % haste you crit anyway like 24 /7.

May I quote myself?

Unfortunately, whilst crit is nice for fire, the general rule of more stats (especially int) = more dps holds true here. Crit and haste aren't that far apart anyway. I also don't get why you're skipping on all the extra int/SP you gain from using cata pieces, I mean it didn't make sense to use 5/5 tier in wotlk, why would you use it now? Especially given the decent 308 pieces available.

for 1 reason mastery is shit for fire in PvE me and zmirnoff tested it in ICC he can do more dmg done then me 30 % in the fight then i just start do more dps and no haste is not good for fire if to much dosent matter you get 12 % haste every pyro = 33 % haste + 12 % + 5 % raid buffed. you dont need haste you need crit and SP only.

Mastery still increases your damage. Sure you're not stacking it, but it does increase dps, even in small amounts (I won't go any further into that, but it's not a superefluous stat like spirit for example). Haste is about as useful as crit, given that fire is a DoT-based dps class. Those dots scale with haste, so more haste = more dps, especially when fire has large cast times too (unlike arcane).Crit should be awesome, but because ignite isn't working right (and hasn't worked/can't work right since ignite was added) is because you can lose extra stacks thanks to those free pyroblast casts. Feel free to go to EJ and look it up (inb4 EJ sucks, it's actually extremely accurate for this).

Heck, even with the amount of haste you suggested, because it puts you at 50% buffed where 55% is the next major breakpoint, so why not get 5% more?

As for SP, you're ignoring the extra SP from using the staff (with power torrent, which provides a large amount of crit when it's up), amongst other things. So it seems to me that you only care about crit, which is a rather blind way of thinking, given the type of class fire is (hint: it isn't fury)

Added.

I would like to know whats best for PvE frost DK and what spec :p

I'll make a profile, but in the meantime, why don't you try it yourself? Assuming you understand the class/spec, talents are easy, and gearing isn't too much harder either. The weights are basically the same as at 85, except secondary stats are stronger (greater % per rating).

My take on PvE frost: chardev 9

Dual wield has traditionally performed better than 2h, even with shadowmourne available to the spec. Despite the weapons being agi, you will likely get more dps from having razorice (buffs mastery) and the extra attack damage (threat of thassarian talent). 2H can be preferred if you like having extra RP. It's also easier to cap hit (as opposed to having too much, damn you halion boots), but you lose some haste doing so.

Might just be me but chardev not working.

Sploison, I prefer to use 2 hands with frost, should I still get the same stats and reforge as you did in the chardev? Do you also know the correct talents for 2h frost? I've been searching but couldn't find one as most 80 profiles got different setups. Cheers

When you get the chance could you perhaps make a second chardev for D/W Frost DK's that dont use anything from cata?

chardev 9 For 2H,
chardev 9 for DW.

Expect DW to perform better, despite the legendary.

Use the talents in the chardev (You swap Nerves of Cold steel for Runic Power Mastery, and Threat of Thassarian for Might of the Frozen wastes). If Shadowmourne is unobtainable use whitefin, reforge accordingly (basically the same, just a few extra secondaries)

I'll add all of these to the OP.

Big personal thanks to Splosion for all his hard work, i think he deserves one.

You have me on skype, just hit me up if you want some help with the chardevs buddy.

Thanks. I don't always have a lot of time to do the chardevs, it tends to be in my breaks at work or when I'm not doing anything else at home. I've got a couple incoming (trying to fix up PvE and PvP shadow currently), but it takes time. I do appreciate the direction when people request chardevs however. It's also better if there's a (reasonable) discussion on gear for a spec, as there has been in the thread.
