8.2.5 possible quest replay feature

From 8.2.5 development notes:

There’s something else we’re going to try out on the PTR, a “replay” quest feature. This will allow players who have already completed certain quests to replay those quests with their friends for rewards that are appropriate to their current level, regardless of the original level of the quest.

Looks like BiS (could) be back on the menu.

Sounds like people can finally gear at their own pace again without the worry of having to delete and re-roll a toon for better RNG. I've been behind the idea of this for years. And now it's more important than ever. I don't see why people are upset, unless they're one of the salty few who struck massive luck and don't wish others for the same. It's a game. You shouldn't bank on it owing you anything. The only thing properly earned is a win in WSG post-gearing. Hoping it's like a weekly reset or something

I'd assume. Possibly can be utilized with a trial account

I’d say best bet would be to group with throw-away allied race toon’s on a separate account.

Not as good as it used to be now that dps is used instead of weapon damage. I suppose it'll proc landslide more and might make that a viable enchant...

That's just not true. Atleast for rogues. I'm yet to test on my prot war but I just got into a debate with someone the other day about this. Rogue ability damage is higher with the 3.6 SPD mokrokks than it was with my epic quest drop with higher dps.

When did I ever say I was for bracket separation, and what does that have to do with this? I was completely against it when all the elitist players on this site (who praised it) were dancing on their own graves. I also didn't mention being excited. I think you're just saying stuff. I'm simply saying people won't have to stress gearing as much knowing they'd be able to get more shots at the quests.

Do you mean that we will be able to get (for example) Seal of Argus a few times on different levels?
Ilvl 31 on 19th, ilvl 32 on 20th?
But there will be no REALY infinity quests on 20th in the group with recently created allied characters.

No way of knowing until it hits PTR, but it sounds like it will be something like a dungeon satchel

This was the immediate impression I got from the notes. It's fairly ambiguous phrasing but I would pump the brakes on getting overly excited about rerolling for endless shots at an epic.

Only complete morons said that. The real shame though is the people out lying claiming they spoke for the twink community and asking for blizzard to separate for their own selfish reasons aren’t fitter ostracized.
