...This poem is about the downfall of all empires, no matter how strong - time changes everything. I think it seldom occurs to people that America is only 300 or so years old, it's very young and has hardly gone through a number of stages of being that many empires do.

Actually the United States is not young when compared to other governments. It is the oldest country with a single contiguous government in the world ever. There is not one single country in the entire world, nay the entire known universe, that has lasted as long as the United States.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Their both untrustworthy sociopaths XD...personally I lean towards liberal social values but I'm glad the GOP is now investigating the FBI's handling of the case and it baffles me that some Democrats think that it's silly.

Thing is, Trump is more consistent than Hillary. By far, at least he isn't partnered up with the establishment. Likewise I am glad the GOP is investigating Hillary, as it's about time politicians are held accountable for their actions. Even on both sides.

Trump over Hillery any day!

this is what happens when you snort too much republican.

Republicans can actually formulate a point instead of demonizing and giving no justification for their views.

Someone said "how is trump sexist?"
Well, along with many other sexist comments, he's said "women should be punished for having abortions". He later apologized, when he realized he would lose votes for his comment. He says a bunch of insane stuff, for example "I could go and shoot someone in the street and I wouldn't lose votes".. He also refuses to condemn the kkk.. Trump says immigrants are the terrorists, but really Trump is the terrorist.

Hillary is marginally better, I'm not surprised she didn't get many votes.
Although, I'm shocked that Trump beat the "Neither" option.

I'm not interested in having a debate with you guys... Let's face it, most of us won't change our opinions, so debating is a waste of time :).

Women should be punished for having abortions. Let me lighten the stage for you. I've been into a clinic where abortions happened and its fucking disgusting. 6+ month old fetus's thrown into buckets like they are just dirt. I could understand women who get raped or who are on birth control and never wanted a baby. However, women who are careless and just abort because of a lack of accountability and inconsideration to prevent pregnancy, should be punished. It is murder in my eyes. Half the people who agree with being Pro-Life are women anyway.

That's the problem with people like you. The don't want to debate and find the truth of the matter. Demonizing and censoring opinions who you don't agree with is much easier.

I think it's interesting that Sanders STILL has not conceded defeat and has not suspended his campaign. He is still technically a presidential candidate. Just what the hell does he have planned?

He endorsed Hillary the other day.

How do you determine this in court?

How do you determine this in court?

Why else do most (not all) females get abortions? They get them because it is an unwanted pregnancy(If it was wanted, the female would not be getting an abortion). If they had copulated with "accountability and in consideration to prevent pregnancy", as Solipist stated, they would not had to have had an abortion.

What some females do to their unborn children many of us would not do to a dog or a cat. Yet, many of those very same individuals that would not abort kittens and puppies while still in the wombs of their mothers find it okay to do it to humans.

At any rate, this thread really is not about killing unborn kittens and puppies. Nor is it about killing unborn humans. It is about "Who will win"?

I try not to talk politics except only when I am amongst some of my closest friends. Even at home we really do not talk politics too awful much. My mother always told me "Boy, never talk politics and religion at the dinner table." And that advice has bode me well throughout my life, personally as well as professionally.

Women should be punished for having abortions. Let me lighten the stage for you. I've been into a clinic where abortions happened and its ducking disgusting. What were you doing in an abortion clinic in the first place? As far as I know, they are generally not institutions that just allow visitors to come in for a tour of the facility. Not only did you make it into the clinic, but you apparently were able to get out of the waiting room and into one of the rooms where the procedures are carried out. You were also somehow there the moment a fetus was pulled out from a patient and tossed into a bucket?

Come on now. You preach about the importance of logic-based and factually-supported arguments, although you rarely provide either. Here are some stats if you are actually interested:
http://www.stats.govt.nz/browse_for_stats/health/abortion/AbortionStatistics_HOTPYeDec15.aspx
http://www.cdc.gov/reproductivehealth/data_stats/

Just in case you can't be bothered to read either of those (first one is NZ specific <3):
-63% of abortions performed were a woman's first.
-55% were performed before 10 weeks
-2014 had the lowest number of total procedures in 20 years, with 2015 being within a dozen of that number

Anyways, strong arguments could be made for either side of any argument but that has not been the case in this thread. Just a lot of rhetoric and name-calling.

Jill Stein is gaining popularity. A much better option here for the first female president. Even though nobody seems to like Trump and Hillary, Jill Stein and Gary Johnson just aren't brought up very much.

actually what i said was "this is what happens when you snort too much republican.". seems reasonable considering what it was in response to.

Bullocks. You tried discrediting what I had to say by equating my post with a "republican" viewpoint. Anyway, all you've proved to me, and probably most other level-headed people, is that you're on the far left and incapable of providing any real arguments. But you know, call me a "bigot" if it helps you sleep at night.
