if the World is gonna burn lets just get this shit over with.
I feel this way on occasion but I don't think that is the natural course of things, Trump causing something like that would feel...rushed. It reminds me of a poem which some may of heard of recently:
"I met a traveller from an antique land

This poem is about the downfall of all empires, no matter how strong - time changes everything. I think it seldom occurs to people that America is only 300 or so years old, it's very young and has hardly gone through a number of stages of being that many empires do.
