Separate f2p/veteran forums discussion

I prefer having this section the way it is right now.

I don't mind it changing and staying, but either way, if it gets changed. I will still post in the veteran servers. We may even need their help to get more people in 10v10s.

------------

But i don't mind its state right now ofc.

I personally think the forum should stay as is. It has worked well since the change and the tags work fine. tbh I dont see any point in splitting because in f2p events 1/2 of the players are vets anyway.

Not really. F2Ps don't want to share forums with vets, we don't want to see a bunch of unrelated things to us like the Q&As and gearing. We really should have a separate forum. The only people that seem to not want to separate are some vet players.

The same could be said that the only ones that want to be special are the starters. We have a system in place for that now.
As I stated before. We went through this three times already months and months ago. And the end result was the nice forum we have now. No one has brought it up until Myrm brought it up in this thread. And of coarse that is his is prerogative.

I think our sub-forums being split would just be nice overall. We are two different types of twinks. Different gearing guides, different armory guides, different play style guides, different event guides. There is absolutely no need to mix them all into one.

One reason we should be separated is the fact that most F2Ps have very little respect for the Vet twinks, and the same could be said for the respect, or lack of, that a majority of the Vets give the F2Ps anymore.

If we were to divide the starters into two forums. Because, let's face it "f2p" and "vets" are both starters. You might as well divide it into more because we have EU and U.S. players. And then we have "pure" starters. Where does it end?
If the forum was renamed the "starter" section everyone would be happy.
It is just a name.

We have a system in place currently to divide up each thread accordingly. If it does not apply to you. Do not read it. Simple as that.

That is the thing. We would all post in both sections anyway. Why split? That means two scaling indexes, two guide sections two Q&A, etc...

That's not been my experience at all (outside of this thread). The forum is already purposely divided with tags, why fracture a 'community' that already works well together in the interest of building it? We are a relatively small group as it is and expectations of a growth explosion anytime soon are likely unfounded.

We are not that small. Many of "us" are not even "starters". We choose to be level 20. Some of us since 5.2. Sure, we could have went on to higher levels.
This has not been mentioned in quite some time. And we were rolling along rather smoothly.

"We" are not so large that the posts in Level 20 are unmanageable and overflowing clearly requiring further subdivision. No, the reasons given are more emotional.

This feels like all talk, no show. How do you intend to pick up the pieces? And am I meant to wait for the section to be divided then see dedicated individuals "consolidate what remains of it"?

It wouldn't be the first time Trials have went away and came back. I have seen F2P a lot less active. We can start gathering up people and I know Me you lenny can get new players to come to TI quite easy with our youtube channels.

Tl;dr

Vets: "We'd rather not click a second section."
Trials: "We need space to reorganize, vet info is all but useless."

Bonus-
Disenchanted Trials: Pessimism

Pessimism or just being realistic? I'd argue the second one.
Come on bro, it only takes 4 players to get the ball rolling. I agree entirely about setting realistic goals.
