Separate f2p/veteran forums discussion

Starters and Vets have much in common. I play both and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Even though they aren't always used perfectly, the tags work well. The biggest disparity is between Starters/Vets and 29's, where there is an altogether different approach to the bracket. As the current Level 20 includes Starters/Vets and the 20-29 bracket implies 29's with possibly useful info for all, I think the current divisions are fine as is. Starters and Vets have a respect for each other that just won't exist between them and 29's.

No. F2Ps don't do community events with Vets they are a totally different community and ingame shows it. Vets are just frozen p2ps that go under trial restrictions but the gear iteams enchants and such are that of a 20-29 forum and would make more sense there asking gearing questions from there.
I don't really care if they are put in the 20-29 I just want F2P separated from this 2 brackets in 1 atrocity.

Yeah, splitting at this point may not really accomplish anything. At first i was very strongly on the side of complete splitting because i wanted to ensure the f2p community stayed active and as large as it once was. But now that many, many f2ps have went vet and adhear to p2p gear / chants, i feel like a f2p forum on its own may succumb to inactivity. Tags are currently working fine, and the morals / arguments have calmed down a lot.

A lot of the inactivity came from the making of a Vet/F2P forum a lot of f2ps told me it was trash and they didn't like it. This really should of never happened Vets are not the Hero's of f2p and a lot of the f2ps that went Vet also have been known to play p2p accounts. For f2p having your forum overran and intruded by 29s often and Vets talking as if they actually help f2p is absurd. Vets are just Cheap/Free p2ps with trial restrictions until they sub or get a 10 day trial that often recycles itself. From ingame experience F2Ps now have to deal with Vets and p2ps which kind of sucks.

Can I get people's opinions on whether they'd like to see this subforum split into a f2p forum and a veteran/p2p forum?

Please separate us the Vets have been trying to hide the fact they are actually P2P and have way more in common with the 20-29 forum anyway.

Trials deserve the opportunity to communicate and work together. This has been our biggest advantage. It's silly to waste time sifting through irrelevant information. With so many embracing veteran accounts, we need a place to congregate more than ever.

No, the vets just don't want to leave the forum lol. In game the division is obvious - Vets don't Premade with US they don't Arena with us They don't Wpvp with us either. Get them out of here things have just went down ever since they fused and the forum looks like a mess with all this vet stuff popping up. F2P has went through good and bad since 2011 F2P is strong enough to stand on its own and has proved it over and over again. F2Ps do not need vets and we realistically didn't gain anything from them other than the 3-4 vets that might q a bg claiming to want to kill 29s.

I simply don't understand. All these people saying "seperate us from veterans." "We're a completely seperate cummunity." There is no F2P community. There's a few people who still play F2P but that doesn't mean you're some kind of community. I don't see any activities F2Ps are organizing on TI, so why even separate yourselves from vets / 29s?

F2P/Vets don't work together in game. We have separate events gear obtainable items and the list goes on. We just share same 20-29 bracket that is not a mix of 3 communities. 1 of which stand no chance against the others far as competitiveness so we have our own 10v10 wargames and instead of skirms we arena with wg's

I think you misunderstood me. I'd like trials to have a place to congregate on ti, separate from vets and p2p.

You didn't see Southshore? I think you went - you don't see the weekly premade in effort to avoid Vets/29s - I know you are one who strongly advocated for this - ofc then you made a vet but you know first hand F2P is a separate community.

You participated in the 2v2 tourney as well. School work, Jobs interfere with f2p at times but the community comes back all the time.

To foster the face of our community. You may not believe it, but some of us are sticking to our guns so to speak.

I think it might be nice to have three subforums as well. Not to segregate since everyone should be free to post in any forum, but since there are different restrictions, having the information more streamlined would be nice, I think.

All the enchants, ways to obtain gold during short WoD trials, earn guild reputation, etc. don't really matter to the people not considering ever subbing their F2P accounts, while they're very interesting for people wanting to gear their vet.

The vets that do keep F2P restricted sets could particitate in the F2P forum the same way P2P that stuck to restricted 20s have done since 2011. Some vets don't have F2P sets and are probably not interested in F2P activities.

Threads that are important for both account types are easy to duplicate.

The only issue I could see arising is that discussion of any future ability changes at level 20 would be less lively if conducted in two threads.

All in the past. Did you see the new sign up for wargames?? 0 sign ups. F2P is dead, people used to say this a lot. But there simply isn't enough people on TI who play F2P regularly to make a "community." Just to address your point, I regularly play F2P, it's sad to see so many people who used to play F2P now play Vets. But that's how shit is.

If for once, people actually tired to solve the big issue of this bracket, I would be amazed. The problem is crap bgs which are noncompetitive, who even does arena anymore anyway? This is an ingame issue that no one tries to fix, even when we have a "community" on TI.

You speak of this community, where is it? I see no F2P activity going on and none being organized on TI.

we had wargames, which was f2p only. and theres no need to be events going to have reason to seperate threads, at end of day if vets want to check f2ps threads they will.
wargames not going atm cuz the previous wargames werent as good as expected.
but the ppl that played be4 are still playing would participate again if someone took initiative.

ik seperating forums wont make trolls leave, so it doesnt matters anymore, atleast for me.

vets have no event going on, does that mean they have no community? ofc not.

vets want so bad to stay cuz they want to be viewed as starters, and not as p2p.
