Separate f2p/veteran forums discussion

This was my question previously, and you haven't answered it. How do you plan to get the ball rolling?

That question is as irrelevant as the information vets give f2ps. The bracket always have ups and downs but it always returns as well. Time for Vets to start packing. I don't see many major reasons vets should stay with this bracket at all.

Can't respond when you give such an ignorant answer.

Vet Points F2P Response
They Play Both Vet and F2P

There are 29s with F2Ps - Doesn't mean they belong in same section

F2P activity is down

This Bracket has ups and downs like any other, Wod content has dried up for f2p somewhat

Since the rearrangement of the section drama dropped

There is no real proof of rearrangement causing this. Bans and inactivity caused this. Elitist became lonely after they cried and harassed members until they were banned.

F2P cant stand own its own and will be a ghost forum without Vets

It has for nearly 4 years with ease.

Not really a ignorant answer. You seem to just want Vets to stay because you also play F2P. Ehh I think both would do better separate. Different information. events, Different view and gameplay point of view in this 20-29 bracket. Why not have a section for Vet info so its not bunched together with F2P?

F2P still has many updates with threads. I think earlier today I counted 13-16 Vet threads to about 7-9 F2P threads within the first 4 pages. There has been activity with f2p lately its just being overran or overlooked because Vet info and such is taking up most of the pages as of lately.

This must be your 5th post repeating yourself. Stating the same points that I already know about and is still not answering my question. My question wasn't directed at you anyway and if you're going to give a response that's not relevant towards my question, it would be better to not respond at all.

Your question seems unrelated to the point of this thread is what I was trying to say. F2P can become more active through good advertisement and getting players involved. I have seen it before as well as you. It wont take a miracle - have the space and Vet thread city free forum would help a lot.

Southshore was a success and didn't take much time to do either. Its just a matter of gathering the people together. Its not that difficult and I was surprised that you would ask that question because you have gotten a dead arena community bumping before as we both know that first hand.

How is it unrelated at all? Segregating F2Ps and Vets may have been a good idea when vets were introduced. But with the amount of people that have gone Veteran and abandoned their F2P, I simply don't see the F2P section being active at all.

What advertisement are you talking about? I'm sure a miracle is needed to revive F2P activity and maintain it since the people who play F2Ps still do not seem interested in partaking in these activities.

We can get people ingame to come to the site and use our personal websites to do so as well and spread the word. You have rogue videos that would draw a lot of new players or just the normal f2p player in to play. We have a few streams atm like Mol that also draws attention. We would just need to do the work. F2P activity will rise again soon. There is a burst around the new patches as well like in 5.4 had a big spike. I know many people were busy the last few months with work and school - graduations and such so there are many reasons activity went down but I am pretty sure it will have a nice comeback but why not help it come faster.

Recruit for F2P all you want. You're going to be losing people constantly as most have the sense to pay up and close the gear gap between 20 and 29, instead of being too cheap and prideful to just accept that the game has changed.

And it's not like F2Ps as a group have ever made any effort to build the community in the past. I've been here since the start and while a few may have tried to organise things, the majority have been completely apathetic, and not contributed anything, instead waiting for someone else to do all the work.

I have both Vet and F2P - The one thing I haven't heard is integration between the two communities. If we were to mix as one community in game as well as on the site with events I would be fine with the section together.

Remember some have the sense but not the cents
so they cant pay them dollars.

This is what i mean.
Trialmop How are you or anyone else going to maintain F2P activity ingame using the TI.

Are you saying the bracket should just become Vet or that the Vet takeover is justified because you believe most F2Ps will become vets? I still feel a strong f2p presence in game and I know a lot of F2Ps that don't use TI but I know I could encourage them to use it. As of lately multi events have had success for F2P and I have seen more people working together than one might think.

Informing more people we have a good chance of flooding this bracket with the F2Ps that are unaware. I have told a few people about TI that have went here and thank me till this day. I get asked about it when I upload videos sometimes too. It would be a challenge and work in progress but I think with the help of certain people I know it can get done.

Im not ready to give up on F2P yet.
In doing so im not sure having vet stuff everywhere would help new members of F2P that come to the site rather than make them become depressed about not being able to be vet for what ever reason that may be.(insufficient funds).
Not sure how balanced vet pvp is atm.

Insufficient funds my ass. That argument barely had any merit when it was about a >$100 a year subscription.

Trial section transitioning into 2v2 for a start. That's all I'll say for now, I have nothing to prove.

Please stop raining on our parade. We're here to stay.

I'm really happy that so many people are getting something out of WoW while they aren't paying for it.

With 5.4 , some pretty big changes are coming such as :
a p2p can get an enchant no matter the lvl , ( warriors with dancing steel, rogues with mongoose)
this could very well be the end for us 20s . .
For many patches we have survived and been able to hold our own vs 24s and p2ps . .
As hard as it may seem to grasp , we might not be able to stand a chance anymore . .
Feel free to comment on what you plan on playing after ( if f2p wow is unplayable anymore )
Ive noticed some have already started playing Rift since it is now f2p , so will Rift or some other mmo be the new home for us poor f2ps . .
Also i just want to say ive had alot of fun since i started f2p back in cata with all you guys, ive met some pretty skilled and awesome players. It truly has been fun , all the close-call bgs ,and those intense duels in gs and in front of org. . those huge fights for AGM . . the classic struggle for LFH . . all the things weve done , all the memories . . /tear

R.I.P MY FELLOW F2PS

We can make it out of this alive we have been through it before we just have to take more action and be more dedicated then in the past.
Yasueh I do understand F2P has went down and is not as enjoyable as before but its still worth fighting for.

That's really cheap, quoting someone completely out of context, using something they said 3 years ago, when the game was very different.

People thinking they can have an argument with trialmop, the guy is an idiot, move on to the next thread aslong as he is here this one isn't going places.
