Cloaks = Drustvar, I believe there are 3 or 4 types of them from some mobs, so chance is way higher.
I wish rings and necks have something similar to it.

Hi everyone,
I've been farming Lower Blackrock Spire on my 20 Paladin, hoping to find a Skullflame Shield, and I just got a level 20 version Stockade Pauldrons (which I was able to equip - no broken tooltip!). Hopefully this can be added to the research @MartinD738 and @Brilliant have done on farming old world epics. Still looking for a Skullflame drop!

Stockade pauldrons is armor. Skullflame is weapon, so different rules. No different than farming pigs in Drustvar or running Gnomeregan for ilvl 28s in BfA.

First of all this is a great find because this may be from the same pool of epics as the rare ones:
Sadly if you want the shield (which is classed as a weapon for loot rules) you need to be farming on a level 17 - which cannot enter LBRS!

because the area where they drop is 30+ or something the only way to farm it is to farm for the lockboxes and have it drop there (leystone lockboxes)
you can also farm it during legion invasions but i wouldn't recommend it unless you get one near black rook hold in my opinion

Went to do some testing myself and got this first clear. I hate to burst the bubble but looks like Cloudkeeper's Legplates may not be GF after all (drops from same pool of epics).

I have done 9 runs so far in LBRS and the drop rate of epics seems to be far higher than any other place I have farmed so far this expansion. These are the drops I have had doing a simple farm with a 60 and 20 (both looting):-
(x2 patterns).
As suspected the loot rules seem to follow the same that we have seen elsewhere: Armor scales to level. Weapons and shields scale to 21. The 31 Edward was looted on a level 60. The other items were looted on the 20.

As others have mentioned from farming, but don't forget there's a third possibility:
- Lockboxes
- Legion invasion mob
- Auction house under Gems > Artifact Relic
The lockbox chances for a specific relic are pretty bad. My running stats from 5 months of farming:
Total relics: 1,456
Lockboxes: 1,015
From lockboxes:
- arcane x13
- blood x7
- fel x11
- fire x8
- frost x7
- holy x9
- iron x8
- life x9
- shadow x6
- storm x7

Mowed down around 431,000 mobs.
Number of times with socket:
- 60 rings
- 56 necklaces
- 56 cloaks

There is 4/5 chests per run (most locked). Make sure you bring a few for farming. Realistically I think the only decent epic you could get from mobs is Cloudseeker. Good luck with the chests! I would love to see someone loot an epic from them or Thorium Lockboxes and see how they scale.
