WOD 20-29 Hell yes

Too bad they made my 29's corpsemaker lvl 30...And seems pretty retarded to get rid of hit so you can only hit 3 levels above you then make a bg 20-29 again. The 20-24 sounds a little better with the new hit system.

And do you think they will keep level 20 ftp's in the same bracket or will their lvl cap increase? 9 Levels is alot to scale up i'm sure there is more details we are gonna run across as it draws near the switch back doesn't seem right, i'm sure they are going to change more things.

Also "grandfathered" twinks...I get where you are coming from but linking a 10 stam ring that freezes as in support of stating how OP they will be is just silly, that will be BiS for FC only most likely, I have the ring on a toon and tbh it doesn't proc THAT often. and as far as other grandfathered shit there will be other items that will be close comparisons that skill can make up for. And I doubt 1 GF'd 29 hunter will farm "all you 24's" lol everyone thinks they are god's gift to wow. TBH why would every1 stay 24? I bet they gonna mess with scaling as well to mess with ptp scalers, it's just the flavor of the month.

I was very active in the 29's in Vanilla/TBC <Hard Target> was a great guild back then ally US, would love to see the bracket come alive, it will also give all of us that are in the 24 bracket something to do, gotta update all of our twinks :)

Anyways sounds fun either way it works out, not really worried, great post thanks for sharing the info HB

You Guys can stay 20 and 24. I'll go 26at least on my rogue for sprint and glyphs. I love glyph of prowl for my Druid fc for repicking or getting to the flag. Faerie fire rogues.

Please stay 20 and 24. Abilites + glyph > scaling . Some classes may be able to get abilites they want and still glyph and scale.

lets be real, even with all that junk 95% of the active p2ps in this bracket will still be garbage. Sure things will change but those that have skill will adapt as usual. Those of us that have been in this bracket awhile now aren't worried about a couple gfd 29s or FOTM ones. But keep your heads up kids. XOXO

What if it is just an elaborate ploy to make the 24s level out of the bracket to 29 and then they will decrease the bracket again to 20-24 once this has been done o_O

I wouldn't lvl your 24s to 29. Just Reroll a new toon. Things might not even change.

I wouldn't lvl your 24s to 29. Just Reroll a new toon. We aren't idiots like some 19s with grandfathered gear who leveled to 20-24 to come this horrible bracket. Lvl 19 to 20-24 then talk smacking forums to take attention away how dumb they were lvl a grandfathered toon.

At the end of the day 20-24 bracket is competetive right. Skill or gear in a bad bracket = ?
HB is correct. It only takes a week or so to casually level up a toon to be competitive in this low of a bracket. Now that all but a few of the slots are heirlooms, there is no reason not to. I, for one will keep my 20's at twenty even if the trial cap is raised to 25. And just reroll. Most minor glyphs are cosmetic. There are many factors to consider. Abilities levels, trial cap, class balance, class glyphs, skirmishes, arenas, wargames, new quest lines, etc...it is way way too early to tell at this point. All we can do is just speculate. Speculation is certainly fun.
While it may take only a week to level. It may take a month or two worth of experimenting and adaptive play to figure out enchants and gear sets for our play style. We may even have to change our play style come 6.0, who knows.

I leveled my 19 " int build" hunter to level 20 back in early Cata. Never looked back. That toon had actually went through the HK reset. I rarely played it after that and still do not. The HK reset was a let down. I just do not enjoy playing DPS any more. To each their own I suppose.

If the trial cap should be increased to lv 25 with the new glyph system (WOD)
will every class that reaches lv25 learn automaticly a major glyph (WOD ALPHA PATCH NOTES)
but it all can still change.

Blizzard may increase the trial cap to 25 to offset the hit issue a bit and to giv trials access to glyphs.
Deadman's Hand has an "official" proc rate of 5%. Which is the same as Green Whelp Armor that I choose to wear on my shaman in the 39 bracket. Green Whelp Armor - Item - World of Warcraft
And it goes off quite often with hilarious results. Zzzzzzzzz but healers get beat on quite a bit. Too bad I do not have a 29 shaman. /cry

The issue with the glyphs is how to get them for trials. There are a total of over 500 glyphs. And I believe 90 or so will be automatically "learned". While this does not necessarily mean they can be used.
I will admit I have not read the alpha notes word for word, page for page so I do not have it committed to memory.
There are going to MAJOR changes to professions, supposedly. I just hope it does not disrupt my gold making process too much.
/cheers

You are probably not very familiar with the 29 bracket. You do not understand how severe the gap is between GF'd and non-GF'd twinks at 29. The whole aspect of players having gf'd gear (like the Nail Spitter as mentioned above) ruined the bracket.

I do consider myself lucky, however, since I have a gf'd warrior (with the maraudon shield & deadmans), so I am quite excited by the idea of being able to play my 29 again :) but it saddens me to have to play against f2ps with a 9 lvl gap. I do hope some strong willed players will remain lvl 20 (and the p2p keep restrictions on their toons) like you said.

Exactly! because why would people call themselves grandfathered, if it doesent serve a beneficial purpose like extra damage etc.. :)

looks like I have to make a new twink, again
