Was just wondering...

BWL could put together a comp., lots of peeps with multiple toons to meet the class restriction, but yah, getting the 10v10 to pop is a pain.

whatever happened to war-games, was that removed?

The wargame system is still available. Problem is the requirement to queue for a WSG wargame is to have everyone's XP unlocked. A default f2p's xp is locked and can never be turned back on. I've always been a fan of the BWL groups. Hope you guys can pull something off.

Bump! Still waiting for any fearless challengers. :)

If this ever does happen I'd really freaking appreciate being on one of the teams as a DPS.. shadow with DM..

I don't mind being your last resort either

Bump. Hope some other realms can put something together. Maybe I can convince all the horde Ursinites to take you on..... Ok, just checked with me and I say I am not enough people.

Who is Felix and the crew? None of AP that was worth premading plays anymore.

Organized matchplay is definitely the direction this board should move in. I haven't been back all that long, but I'm kinda surprised that I see it so rarely. Anyone that wants to put the work in to get things moving gets a big thumbs up from me.

That said, I think the restrictions in the op are a roadblock and should be reconsidered in favor of getting games going. Speedpots only win games against clueless teams, for example. People have spent a ridiculous amount of time to get an infinitesimal advantage with their (our) toons. Put that time to use in decent match play.

As I stated before Tilt Shift, allowing speed pots is absurd. Wouldn't you find it quite ridiculous if all 10 of your teammates used their speed pots in one game just because I allowed it? If so, might as well call the game a NASCAR Sprint Cup.
My restrictions are similar to a 19 and Rbg style premade. Simple rules for a simple game.

Give misha sometime. We don't care if we're your first choice but we will be glad to take you on :) right after we take on BWL that is. Raincheck (if ursin is still together in a few months) :)

Promise you won't /spit on us if we beat you? <3

What if all 20 people had speed pots, wouldn't that be even?

What if NOT all 20 people had AGMs, would that be uneven?

What if not all 20 people had full BoAs and enchants... aren't these all "earned advantages" that reflect on that player's work in making themselves the best possible?

I think the abilities that some classes possess, which other classes cannot ever have, are more unbalancing that an earned advantage like AGM or speed pots that -anyone- can get with work.

N.B.: I don't have speed pots myself on my current primary character so I'm not speaking from a self-serving point of view here.

+ Rule
1-0 hunters allowed, 2 is still too bursty for me to be comfortable with

Also 2 rdruids would not be allowed? :/ MY server likes their druids :p

PS. I play mage... soo yeah.... and Speed Pots are cool, but I wouldnt mind NOT using them for this. Vashj would be willing to fight, but this kind of stuff takes a lot of organization and I kinda dont wanna mess with that since im in school atm :p

I see your point of view Kinacide of disallowing characters to use their "earned advantages", but at the same point in time we need to take a step back and be realistic of what a fully organized 10v10 premade would look like with everyone being able to use speed pots. I think Kevi summed it up well saying it would look like a Nascar Race. There would be numerous amounts of repicks, and i feel that numerous players would pop speed pots on cooldown... and let's be honest with ourselves here. Speed pots can be a very viable/needed item for certain classes in pug situations... but we are talking about a 10v10 fully organized premade. I would hope both teams would be able to coordinate among themselves well enough to not have to bounce off speed pots for a boost.
AGM/Boas/Enchants are a different story as they are not ground breaking/game changing abilities. Agm only absorbs around 500 HP now with battle fatigue in combat and enchants/gear everyone should be up to par with anyways if they have a dedicated twink!
At this point guys, speed pots are not going to be allowed in our premade, any serious offers in getting a game together we can discuss other options

Do the winners get their own tabard of the flame xD? Haha i kid i kid

Looks fun tho cmon someone take them up on the offer! No epeen will be dmged :D

Yes, will Darkflight be allowed? Will the hunters be allowed to use Posthaste? Will the druids be allowed to use Displacer Beast? Will the paladins be allowed to use Speed of Light? Will the warlocks be allowed to use Demonic Leap? Will mages be allowed to use Blazing Speed? Will the goblins be allowed to use Rocket Jump?

I promise I'm not trying to be a pest about this, just trying to offer another point of view.

Will ursin be using darkflight though. that's the question : )

All racials and talents are allowed. Like honestly guys...

I'd just hate to be a rogue or warrior or another class that doesn't have an innate class-based speed-pot-like ability, since everyone will get to use their class-based speed pots and those classes without them will be gimped from doing the same.

That's the last point/post I'll make about the lack of consistency in the logic of banning speed pots. I'm Alliance so I won't be in your tournament anyway.

Every person/class in a team will have their own roles. Call me Cpt. Obvious, but here's just pros and cons to every class. You play your class what you are given and if you dislike it, you roll a new class.
