Wandering Isle Stayers

@Zee As I can see from your Armory, it's clear you can get out and do at least some Quests. Can I ask what are you able to do in Legion Zones? It'd be really interesting to see a Neutral Panda with an Artifact Weapon fully maxed out and sitting with 890+ iLvL lmao, or higher if you can also get to 110 and do some of that content.

That's the thing, they hotfixed all means of teleportation off the isle yesterday it seems.
I wasn't able to do any content outside of the Eastern Kingdoms unfortunately, I leveled to 101 doing pet battles in the Twilight Highlands, and now I can't even do that anymore.

How dare you play the Game the way you want to and not the way Blizzard expects you to (endless Grinding at Level Cap for shit that'll be obsolete in 2 months). That'll teach you to have 'fun' in WoW.
 
there is a quest hs item that ports you in to lightshope chapple.
are neutrals able to use it?
 
I've always found that funny about Blizzard. They fix the most unimportant/non-gamebreaking shit. Who cares if neutrals can get out into other zones it doesn't affect anything for anyone else. Same can be said for many other things throughout the game's history..

I'm really sad,
I invested a Lot of time in this project.
Especially getting to level 41, I picked herbs for days just to get there asap, and then pet battleing to level 100.
But noo give the first guy an NPC, block the others.
Herbs don't even give experience anymore, he just did some pet battles quests each day to level up.

Anyway at least I got to keep my Engineering skill and Moll-E,
The only way to level now is doing the 5 shareable pet dailies, gonna buy a 300% exp potion see if it works.
If someone needs a mailbox spawned on the isle lemme know.

My apologies for missing out on the thread, finally got a job and was working for quite a while, also let my sub run out and am in the midst of getting it renewed, now to catch up a little.

If that is true, then RIP, I really enjoyed flying around on my Panda, I always avoided cities and such though except for the dailies just to not draw unwanted attention. :/

I'll have to try after I get my sub renewed, has anyone tried the fishing boots from the Stranglethorn Fishing event if anyone still has them? Do those still work at all?

I haven't tried those, they removed the STV event, don't know if it's back yet.

Also yeah, it was definitely a targeted hotfix because neither the ancient portal nor the scroll of recall work.
I can't fathom what the reason for it was though, you literally only had disadvantages over other players and couldn't go anywhere else.
I'm surprised they don't delete white gear to ruin the iron man challenge too.
 
I've seen a couple of your posts in this thread and -not to be condescending, hear me out- there's definitely a difference between playing the game a different way (iron man challenge, twinking, leveling strictly through pet battles, f2p/veteran as main, etc...) and taking advantage of a bug (Factionless pandas in overworld, transmogrification glitches, farming Time-Lost Proto-Drake by blocking CRZ, gigantic appearances on mounts, F2P's entering raids, etc...).

I know it's a bug, you know it's a bug, we all know it's a bug. They can be fun, but don't knock Blizzard and cry no fair for fixing them. As fun as they are, I wish Blizzard would fix more bugs and have a more enjoyable/reliable game because of it.

That being said, we may still have a couple of options. As it seems Blizzard is onto us, you can PM me or chat with me on Discord, if you're interested.
 
@Slone I 100% agree that we Players shouldn't be butthurt when Blizzard fixes bugs, however, this particular bug hurt literally nobody. You couldn't in any way use a Neutral Panda to your advantage against other Players (what usually happens when an MMO is Exploited, it's done so to gain advantage over other Players).

The same could be said about low Levels entering certain Raids for a time. It hurt nobody for them to do so, those Character didn't gain any advantage over other Players (super OP Gear that only they could wear while exploiting into Raid Instances). I'm only mad about it because I wasn't actively playing during the majority of the bug and thus missed out on many Achievements myself on my low Level Twinks, which is my own fault.

I do agree with you. My only complaint is that they seem to target certain bugs that don't affect any one other than the user and don't truly offer a benefit that translates to anything like being overpowered. This especially applies to neutrals... Again though, you are right, a bug is a bug.
 
Got the heirlooms scaled to 110 so it's time for me to continue leveling the neutral via pet battle dailies.

Also it seems that I was able to learn the alliance version of heirloom flight paths on my neutral, for both continents. Useless though atm.

  1. Select a Realm
    • The best Realm for US would be Mannoroth; for EU participants the prefereble realm would be Magtheridon or any of the connecting realms. The choice is yours to make but these are the places which do already have some existing wandering isle stayers.
 
There was a small while where Pandaren couldn't gain XP after a certain level (Wasn't sure when, as I was already a very highlevel before I noticed) via profession gathering, that has seem to have been fixed with the last patch.

I've been testing portals, Engineering Portals, Scrolls of Recall - Not tested Old Dal portal since the last fix and have yielded no results, but I'll still attempt to try after every patch!

And if anyone on US servers, would like access to a mailbox or transmog, be sure to add me on Battle.net or Discord, I'll be sure to do these at least once a day if enough people are interested!

I have a neutral Pandaren on Silvermoon-EU that would very much like to expand his capabilities!
Is there anyone on EU that could help me train engineering and getting some stuff from the mail?
It is quite an urgent matter since it seems that the remote auction house is retiring and I could miss the only opportunity to get what is needed.
