w/e that 1 abiity was called which enchanted thier weapon with holy damage

i dont remeber, so lets just call it TV. Well, what that thing USED TO DO is bypass through any armor you had, was pure holy damage and it did like literally 1/2 hp away at that time


Na man, warriors could NOT kite rogues all they had was their simple charge, you could not stance dance to say defensive or berserking because ur abilites would just not be there or locked out of em. And he has 50% slow,i have a 70%,how in the world would he kite me?

+you dont remeber before wep speed got normalized you could have say a fast dagger mh and thrash blade and just get like 7 hits per strike since u would be granted all those extra hits...warrior couldnt do that.I used to shit on so many warriors back then with that thing u wouldnt believe AND i was a 12 year old kid which sucked really bad

And you got to realize people were very new to the game they sucked major garbage man they did not know what they were doing

they had no stuns barely,not to mention all CC was breakable on damage back then say i inflicted a % of dmg on that warrior so my crippling poison broke but then its refreshed again....they would have to reapply their little hamstrings n stuff but i would be all over em lol with my vanish...

I'm sure your past is very interesting, but this thread is about this bracket. In other words, this is about how the bracket is now.

Perhaps you're looking for the "vanilla rogue vs warrior viability thread", in the meantime I recommend propranolol.
 
how much new gear do you have to get? i'm looking for as little gearing effort as possible. i read a bunch of people saying that mages sucked, but i really should have learned my lesson by now that pretty much nobody in WoW knows wtf is going on. arcane looked like the only viable mage spec, but i don't have any idea how much damage anything does. more damage than arcane used to do? it sure looks like you could put out some ridiculous burst as arcane, particularly with PoM and the way that the arcane charges stack. and a free shatter, damn. why do druids have a teleport? who was sitting there thinking, "druids....nature....animals....teleport"? edit: why does the forum not allow me to divide my post into paragraphs? i keep posting in separate paragraphs, but when i post, it clumps all the text together.
 
Why don't you try it then? Instead of listening to a bunch of people who may or may not know what they are talking about?

I mean that sub is pretty expensive... owait.

EDIT: The paragraph thing... Do you have a script blocker? That's what screwed with me for a bit.
 
Like I have said in a few post. Doesn't matter what people say as long as you like what you are and what you are doing, because in the long run you will decide if your class is awesome or not, or Op /w.e etc. Play on warcrafters!
 
yeah i run a script blocker, but i've enabled all scripts that this site wants to run other than google dataminers and facebook. is there any other way around it....?

Mages suck. Believe me. They are just CC bots, and not even decent ones, because the bracket is filled with Dwoods. Arena wise they are fine.

I haven't played druid post-mists, and I don't have pallies or hunters.

Druids, pallies, and rogues are the most played. (Druid and hunter popularity swap)

Overall, the game is still bad.

Ranged DPS´s always top charts

In mage bg u played 4min and did 29K dmg... Rogue played 7min and did 17K dmg.

Mage Vs Rogue... Mage Wins :)

na magi are ok they are rare though

rogues are best at taking down EFCs which makes them the most desirable DPS

I'm just glad I leveled an RDruid before I quit. Nice to come back to a class that's playable in an unbalanced bracket lol.

I felt bad at first but now, who cares, there are so few balanced matches due to Rdruids, hpallys, and 24s so w/e at least I'm not banging my face on my keyboard.

I have to say though, after playing my rdruid for a bit, I feel bad for every Rdruid I killed with my rogue. It's honestly should not be possible unless you get a quadruple patty crit burger, but even the druid should swiftmend > travelform > jumpspin+moonfire>travelform>lolkite. Hell get even get into bear. Rdruids in bearform seems to be a lost art now.

So they got damage output? Try outdpsing ANY healer. Try CC'ing them? Sure, you might manage to. But they'll catch up to you since their mobility is now better than Mages. GG. Mages would atleast be decent if FN couldn't be shifted out.

I almost moonfired a mage to death, he ran out of LoS and I didn't bother to continue the chase.

Mages are a support class in this bracket. You have to get your head around the fact that you probably aren't going to solo a healer down alone, not like in Cata. You can give it the good 'ole try and if they mess up, make them pay for it. But play like the support class you are and life is much better.

You can certainly still Rambo on people, but the results are generally less than stellar.



The only classes I feel I can solo a healer EFC on are my Hunter, Rogue, Pally and Druid. For various reasons.

No one can outdps a healer.

Magi are fine on a team
 
so is it that damage is now too little, or healing is now too much? i'm not really interested in WSG anyway of course, because it's terrible, but from what you guys are saying it seems like AB might actually be better with higher healing and less damage. do mages still have imp cs? if they don't that is pretty awful
