This bracket in a Nutshell

Blizz has supposedly been trying to make it so you aren't in a cookie cutter talent point and spec build. To do this, they took away our cookie.

I've always said; since BC; that to balance this game they'd have to take out all classes and replace them by 1 so everyone is equal.

The transformation is slow... but..

It has begun!

Yes healing is OP but it forces people to work together (gasp) and adapt.

i disagree: with healing classes being able to do more damage, there is much less motivation for them to heal dps classes. this is just what i see in bgs when i'm playing dps. dps class may be more dependent on healers now, but the system isn't reciprocating.

I dont know how to fix it but I've dabbled at the f2p preist for a while. Before 5.0 a hunter could pin me and I couldn't do anything besides heal and cast a dot or penance if I got a shield up. It would end with me out of mana or he kept me pinned long enough to get some friends to show up and finish me. I feel bad for what has been done to Warriors but I dont miss getting one shot if I didnt have a shield up. I think healing needs a nerf and the pitiful classes need a buff to level things out if anyone cared for what happened in this bracket.
I think this bracket is 'working as intended'. The f2ps keep the que times short for the paying customers that want to pvp at an advantage. I've heard people state in the bg chat that they were upgrading after a multiple lvl 24 curbstomping so blizz gets more paying customers. I have no idea what the trial account population is. I've wondered if the community should propse microtransactions they'd be willing to pay for (i.e. turning on xp, turning on the ah and mail.) That would make the p2ps furious but if they thought there was a chunk of money to be made they'd do it.

the thing is you can gold farm on a f2p account, even though not efficiently to be even worth the time. This is the reason why i doubt they would ever let open gold, and AH.

You must have been a terrible priest, cause cata priests shat on hunters.

On topic, we consider this a bracket now? I thought it was still a pile of dog shit that I accidently stepped in.

It's funny, when I came back I had a Rogue, Ret Pally and Rdruid which were fun to play before and now It's like I hit the jackpot!

I honestly think rogue is awesome on paper but balanced in actual game play. Double ambush is not automatically 2K worth of crits and you have to be Assassin to do it. I gave it a whirl and don't really think it's anywhere as OP as Hpally or Rdruid at the moment.

I tried to take the high road and play the Rogue, and went prot on my pally to try it out. Then after an evening of getting steamrolled in bad pugs vrs 24s and FoTM rerolls (no looms or LFH, halfassed dungeon gear ect) I said screw it and dusted off the Druid. Still finishing the last bit of gear FUGGIN MAG MANTLE DROP NAOW! seriously I must be close to 100 chests by now.

Anyway, I think Rprime has a good point. I do miss the days when burst was less prevalent and healing / teamwork mattered. It's a bit of a caricature now but better than 5-7 backpeddling huntards in mid.

Rogue?Not OP?

Lets see...

Ambush is buffed to a whooping of 470% +xxx damage, from 275% of cata ambush. 70% FREE armor reduction,(which makes mail armor worthless, as well as the 40% resil, that 3/4 armor reduction becomes as if cloth armor) you dont have to apply sunders like a warrior, it doesnt use any energy or rage,so forth. A good drink of Thisle tea will instanty make you FULL on it again(can other classes do that?).THE only class to even keep a slow in this bracket, which is,also, auto-appliable and does not use any rage or resource. And,if used correctly before battle, Slice/Dice coupled with Herb and Troll racial(add a 10% hunter pet buff, what if?) will net you so many white auto attack hits the enemy wont even see it coming. That Evasion is still there(does any other class gets to dodge melee attacks?Nope)....Aaaand, last but not least, is 1k Evis. In this so-called bracket, a trial rogue has currently more attack power and crit % chance, abilities and survivability then a fully chanted and loomed 24 warrior. Not to mention more utility use. Thats great balance, i believe

You have to be truly retarded to suck on a Mists of pandaria low level rogue

I believe it will take a while for Blizzard to nerf low level rogues, and i do wish Ambush was taken away instead of shadowstep...they are heading in the right direction, but that is all we can hope for.

oh, and nice eyepatch you got there buddy

Implying choice. Get out. Everybody uses the same stuff anyway. Only paladins get a real choice.

I mostly like the current state of the bracket. Gone are the days of hunters globaling you from 30-40 yds away.

Yes healing is OP but it forces people to work together (gasp) and adapt. R druids bug the shit out of me but it's rewarding catching and killing them.

H pallies are eazy mode and /snore to play now. Stealthed rogues are actually a threat now with a double ambush of 1k each. I like it.

Purge is amazing and should never get boring!

I always admire the locks and warriors out there - kudos.

I think the lack of abilities is actually worse than healing. The problem with Druids, Paladins and Rogues is that they get pretty fleshed out at 20 compared to lets say....a warrior. A Resto Druid can be felled easily but it requires so much CC burning too..and them not under rejuvination whilst stunned.

I think healers have a higher skill cap now. Since your heals can keep you up so easily, you have more time to press other buttons.

any 12yr can play prot pala and any druid spec. Horde dont understand the concept of "off healing" and warped views on healing FCs who aren't paladin or druid.

No - just, no

I beg do differ:
In Cata, a good healer would anticipate damage on a friendly and heal before the health bar goes down to save a teammate and be able to outheal incoming burst from hunters. This healer would still do damage if no teammate is on the verge of dying to create enough pressure on the enemies to succeed. In MOP with strong heals, you do have a more time to react. In Cata even a badly timed interrupt could incapacitate a healer and kill him with a lot burst. Whereas in MOP: if the damage is lacking and you interrupt a healer he may still have the chance to survive if he can get off a single heal. In Cata when i had bad lag: could i only play a hunter because it was so easy: BAM BAM Scatter BAM: healer dead... no timing at all. Whereas on my priest my teammates were dead before i even had a chance to react.

na this bracket's skillcap is pretty low, and for healers it's very low to be efficient. even if you press other buttons it's not that big of a difference
