Nice EPic upgrade on the Exarch's chest. Don't agree about 4p Doomplate set.
The strength proc is nice, but it really just fills in the blank from the sockets you sacrifice by equipping the full set;
& it's irregularity rarely lines up with other similar boosts.
Better to go with 2 piece ( shoulders & gloves) for the +12 crit, & augment sub stats loss via enchants if so desired.

Would that we had access to a few of the lvl 25 req dungeons in TBC., particularly the Arc & Morass.
would make everyone's kit far better & more complete.
 
Nitpick: the main bulk of Chops' video is right (if PvP gems don't work, you're going to want to target Northrend epic gems and sink a bunch of time into them), but warbanks allow for QoL perks like parallelizing the use of long CDs and keeping dedicated profession alts instead of having to profession shuffle. Also the ability to shuffle items between characters means that stormjewels are less of a wild shot in the dark, because one dropping for any character works instead of having to hope that the one you want drops from that toon's daily bag.
 
Hopefully you all have been saving your Dragonflight items drops in case you missed it, Blizzard recently fixed disenchanting DF soulbound (to a certain point aka drops from the pre-TTW event are still locked) that F2P can disenchant them.

Plus, with Timewalking Cataclysm active, the repeatable bag drops item that disenchant into Cataclysm Enchant mats. The Cataclysm dungeon drops do too, but as these are ilvl 96 some of them may fit as replacements.

One thing to note is some of the Cataclysm Dungeons in the timewalking rotation were bugged - one example the final boss chest in Throne of the Tides had a level 30 requirement to open until around afternoon on 12/18; Blackrock Caverns was not tuned so instance kills on the first two bosses because not many knew the mechanics. It was funny being level 20 and the last to wipe ;)

Thankfully, the level restrictions were rapidly fixed, & good to know about the DF lootz that we couldn't DE.

Cata enchanting mats was never an issue, as you can just go buy all the mats you want from the Tier vendors, though it is nice to be able to stock up for free.

Cata dust and essence were a HUUUUGE pain in the butt to get. I would say the hardest mats out of all the enchanting skills by a margin. Blue/epic mats were easy tho.

They are only available to Ally F2Ps or if you had some transferred through warbank (when it was working). Other than that - Pact / Gift is all you can use.

@DoByG I haven't found it in the guide, but how do we get the BFA accord ring enchant recipes on an Ally F2P? I thought we can't get to Nazjatar without being summoned and then the vendor would still be phased?

Ally's enchanting trainer in Boralus has them available for some reason.
 
I'm not sure if I'm some sort of exception or something but I have been running literally hundreds of time walking dungeons on my 70 twink because I can solo them very quickly. Just a few minutes ago I decided to box my alt account with an old level 20 I found and every item that dropped was item level 96. I came here to see if I could find an armory list to compair too and everyone is using item level 80ish stuff. I've not really compared stats though. Is this item level 96 time walking junk BiS?

Timewalking dungeons drop ilv 96 for 20s now, that is baseline.

Some items like weapons and trinkets are really good, but mostly the ilv 84 TBC era stuff with sockets will be the best bet, given how powerful socket gems are currently.
 
There are some bugs with level <=20 on Cataclysm time forged items, for Strength characters some of the ilvl 96 non-trinket/ring gear as fine strength and stamina but it seems the other secondary traits are like +1 Mastery or +2 Haste/Critical compared to the ilvl 84-89 drops.

For at least agility characters the ilvl 96 via Cataclysm time forged non-trinket/ring items seem to have stronger secondary stats like +7-11 Mastery/Critical Strike/Haste (I have not had a Versatility drop yet).

I have not had time to grab any of the caster time forged drops yet.
