Well done with the guide guys. Really helps new and old players. I have a question. Is there another gem vendor apart from the one in Orgrimmar?

on the topic of bag space, goat's tote is probably alliance only, unless you can get p2p help on horde. firstly, i cant find a way to get to tirigarde sound, guides say talk to the captain on the ship, but theres no option to go to tirigarde sound for me. secondly, rares there will be level 45 for horde.

As Horde, you need to board the ship in SW and walk all the way there. Totes does scale so you should have no trouble killing him! Also, I suggest setting your hearth to Anyport in Drustvar as you can talk to the ferryman and he will take you back to Zuldazar. Getting on the SW boat is not easy so you don't want to do it twice. Good luck!

alright i gotta try that then, thanks

dropping the intro quest and just walking through the portal in blasted lands is a way easier method to skip the wod intro
It's also worth noting that Wowhead did a little article on new Garrison things including the Draenor Intro skip, level reqs, and some other things

Right now I'm really just stuck on figuring out what professions I'm going to do first. I think what I should do is:

jewelcrafting + mining. Then stock up on a shit ton of gems.

Drop JC and get enchanting. Then continue to mine since I'll need ore for engineering. Stock up on a shit ton of enchants

Drop enchanting then pick up Engineering.. I guess once I make everything i need for engineering, I can drop mining and replace it with something else if I missed out on something. But I really don't know if I'll have all the bank space for reagents

STARTING OUT

A: EXILE’S REACH
The new starting zone for all (non Hero Class) players. It’s a fresh introduction to Azeroth for new characters made after The Squish. Not much to cover other than you get a new Transmog set from quests for all slots except the boots (those are a random BoE drop from any mob in the zone, so be sure to stick around for some mob-farming after you finish the storyline). There is also a Tabard to pick up; however, it’s white-quality, so not able to Transmog to other toons.

B: BAG SPACE
F2P players’ goldcap (more on this topic later) has been raised from 10g to 1,000g. This opens up a much larger storage capacity than previously allowed in the form of all Bank Bag slots, Reagent Bank, & Void Storage. The road to filling every inventory & bank slot with maxed out bags is a long one, but this is a small section of three large-sized bags that can be obtained with minimal effort.
You will need a total of 311g 10s to unlock all storage space:
  • 111g 10s for the 7 Bank Slots
  • 100g for Reagent Bank
  • 100g for Void Storage
(Reputation Discounts do not apply)

Do these still drop? The npc's should be easy to solo now. but still would be grindy.

edit: also u can add https://www.wowhead.com/npc=19330/lisrythe-bloodwatch just as an easy gem grab while people farm for the better gems

we recommend enchanting/tailoring first as this synergizes best with the initial gearing phase through questing/dungeon spam. Since you want to *end* on engineering (cogwheels and tinkers require it) theres no sense to picking it up early only to haveto drop it and them relevel it later.

crafting cheap tailoring patterns is an easy, cost free way to grind out enchanting mats. You're picking up the cloth anyway if you're grinding dungeons for greens. Might as well make more greens while youre at it.

Legion Quests for Epic Relic procs

Also put a disclaimer to upgrade class hall before questing to increase chances at epic relic proc

PROFESSIONS GRIND

G: GOLDCAP

Capping off at 1,000g is an important part of rotating professions, especially if you ever revisit a Legion Crafting Profession; those require you buy a 1000g item to relearn the skill, because Legion Trainers are assholes. You will also be hitting the goldcap multiple times in order to maximize your materials acquisition (mainly for Enchanting, more on this later). There are a few ways to earn gold:

  • One-time options for “Vendor Trash Treasure” pick-ups in Pandaria & Draenor
  • Face-melting mob grinds for “Vendor Trash Treasure” at never-ending/fast spawn points
  • Traditional Questing/Dailies Rotations
This is also useful for when you are done with professions and want to explore and buy up a bunch of new goodies around Azeroth.

H: PROFESSION ROTATION

1. Tailoring/Enchanting (Enchant Scrolls, Bags & Bandages)
You want to take Enchanting first, because it will allow you to disenchant all the drops you don't need, and build up your enchanting material pool faster. This also keeps your inventory open.
2. Skinning/Leatherworking (quick dip into LW for leg armor & skinning for mats needed by other professions)
You want to have all your pants by this point to apply the leg armor. If you don't you can always revisit Pandaria LW once you do have your best pants.
3. Mining/Herbalism (The Grind) – [WiP]

4. Mining/Jewelcrafting (Stock up on JC materials) – [WiP]

5. Mining/Alchemy (Trasmutations for JC materials, Alchemy Flask) – [WiP]

6. Mining/Jewelcrafting (Finish out your Gems collection) – [WiP]

7. Mining/Engineering (get your Goggles, Cogwheels, Tinkes & Trinkets) – [WiP]

Tinkers:
Cataclysm Goggles: (scaled down using https://shadowlands.wowhead.com/item=180055/relic-of-the-past-i)
Pandaria Goggles: (scaled down using https://shadowlands.wowhead.com/item=180055/relic-of-the-past-i)

Trinket
:
https://www.wowhead.com/item=77530/ghost-iron-dragonling

Cogwheels:
Sold by https://www.wowhead.com/npc=5519/billibub-cogspinner & https://www.wowhead.com/npc=3413/sovik (vedors in other Capital Cities sell them as well)
You will need to diversify what you craft while leveling Cataclysm Engineering in order to have the odd items needed to purchase the Cogwheels. (One of them requires https://www.wowhead.com/item=60858/goblin-barbecue, so do your cooking dailies to learn the recipe)

8. Engineering/... (pick Alchemy for Flask or Tailoring for Nets) – [WiP]
There are gems that have 7 intellect,7 agility can someone tell me what is the name of the gems or tell me how to get it

I fucking love how much shit we have now lol. It is really tedious, but at least most of the grinds are guaranteed and not totally RNG based.

Now when it comes to legion epic BOEs, those could be super annoying and boring to grind...

You can level wotlk enchanting super fast with gold buy buying the epics/blues from the vendors in crystal song forest dalaran and d/e then using the shatter recipe you get at lvl 15 on the abysal crystals. Takes like 500-600gold to get to around 50-60
