I take it you're pro-authoritarian. You are of course free to make up your own mind about such things but I will say it is a disappointment to see someone of your ability limit themselves that way.

Besides the font being Arial (sarcasm) I kind of dig the content in this CoC. However I still feel like every kid on here is going to say it's still too strict or something. (or am I just inducing reverse psychology
) However I still think a lot is up to interpretation with it. Particularly the excessive flaming... I mean there are always going to be those thirsty ratchet side-hoes following some players all over to the deep dark depths of the site just to contradict any post they make, but when does harassment cross the line and become excessive you know?I think it's a good draft and the content is definitely there and I'm in support of the essence of this CoC and Yde's as well. Honestly I feel like no matter what the CoC says, the bad apple will still piss all over it with breaches and freak out when they cross the CoC and get a warning (or am I just inducing reverse psychology?). I feel like the one bad apple will have a problem with any CoC that is not 100% what that bad apple wants to read in a CoC. I feel as though it's important to consider how the community as a whole feels instead of strictly just catering to the "fuck the police" ones (or am i just inducing reverse psychology?).

The Auction House is a Twinkinfo signature. It's sad to see it in it's current state. I don't even recognize it anymore. Plus, if you aren't registered and/or logged in, the section is hidden. Sneaky spent a lot of time organizing and keeping the AH civil, it was worth the upkeep. Paying USD for a twink item is no different than paying for WoW token. It's all relative to gold coming and going. I say bring it back in it's entirely and restore it's integrity.

Well from the reports we're not allowed to act on there's quite a few people who don't like profanity. I wish they'd speak up in here, especially certain people should do this instead of complaining to me that we're not acting on their reports.
Very concise CoC in the spirit of the current 19s posting majority.
I've always felt editing a slur out of a post that also contains something else is more respectful towards the poster than deleting it completely because it preserves most of their work. Your wording seems to support the opinion of the people who really hate having a mod edit their posts, because it changes their voice, also valid. I think we should have a poll to find out what people would prefer before going one way or the other.

Good point, but I'd argue that it's influenced, not necessarily harmed. No authoritative action can hurt the site culture just as bad. Some peace-loving people may refrain from posting if an entire thread is filled with toxic arguments, or if they expect to be attacked very aggressively. I'm not even talking about the Agonist/Mocha Mr. and Mrs. Smith thing going on lately. With Legion we'll hopefully have a lot of changes and challenges to talk about in all brackets, and I'd love for TI to be the place where most people feel comfortable talking. I just think that your CoC clauses 1 and 5 are too vague to prevent bullying. :/

Except that the IRL money is not going to Blizzard. That is where the difference lies. Certainly TI can't stop real money transactions between people. But, TI just can not longer be used as the tool to do this transaction.
If an enteriprising person was wanting to "trade"(hint) his goods for something other than WoW gold, they could come up with some sort of marketing solution.
Although it would not call the Auction House a TI "signature" by any means at all. Not by a long shot. If anything, the guides are why non members have been coming here for over half a decade.
I can all but guarentee you it is not for the streams.
