I actually don't mind, the current queue is long but I can do other stuff while in queue. Roughly 50% games are good, before it was around only 20%.

the 20s would still be queing so u lost 4/5They literally cut the size of the bracket in half with the removal of levelers. We used to have 4 games going at one time. It wasnt solely the presence of 29s that stuffed the bracket. Not by a long shot.
Pay for a sub, gear your 29, stop crying, gather a couple of friends and there are going to be fun games going on, trust me. Adaptation boys
There it is -
If subbed to the game why would you not just play wotlk, or endgame SL? Why spend time gearing a 29 for long queue times, horrible balance and lack of variety?
Incoming message from Dingle McCringleberry - "the balance issues and little to no variety w/ comps was the same before the split".
Well..... Mr McCringleberry that is not true at all. Regarding the balance issues there were only 2 or 3 outliers to watch out for (arcane mage, destro lock, mm/surv hunters). And you were less likely to run into them when levelers were filling BG team slots. Now though, you have - balance druid, arcane mage, destro lock, mw monk, mm hunter/surv hunter, fury warrior with dark iron pulverizer x2, open access to balefire trinket, all gross and running rampant.
Which brings us to the second issue, comp variety. Before the split 20 dks, enh shams, ww monks and demo locks (or other offmeta builds) had some team support potential. Since the split the chasm between S tier and mid tier classes has gotten even wider, so offmeta specs are just cannon fodder.
If you actually tried to maximize ur 29 gear and played a couple of games with a couple of (skilled) friends instead of just crying in this forum, you'd see what I am talking about
Outside of few really bad specs, I have seen every 29 able to do work.
So if you want to primarily play as a level 20 your options are to either play as a meta pumper or play with a premade. Hmm, I wonder why the queues are getting progressively longer with such a fun experience waiting for the 20 crowd
Sorry but reality is reality.
So the reality for a 20 is be prepared to be a target dummy for the 29 meme team. Sounds like a recipe for success. Only having games pop frequently during peak hours is another reality winner.

Really thought it was gonna take a couple months to get to the "yea, ques are tolerable during peak times" phase this time around but SL 29s are really going for the 29s Destroy Their Own Bracket Speed Run recordQues are only long off hours

I personally don't get the whole drama here.
