5.1 pets no longer retain buffs when tamed, making it grandfathered. I heard there was something after that happened after that and a few more people got it, then it got patched shortly after. You can keep trying and keep hoping. This thread(petopia) talks about the exploit. You can probably watch that forum for if something comes up.

It's actually funny - I have a named Water Elemental on a level 40 Frost Mage.

I don't play it anymore. Blizzard "fixed" them all - meaning that they tracked down all instances of named Water Elementals and caused them to be reverted to their default name. But apparently they missed mine :eek: maybe it was because it was pre-80 and had such low /played. I'm afraid to play it in case they find their error and fix it.

Basically to do the exploit, you had to run a script that manually renamed your pet. It was impossible for warlocks, because the "default name" for their pets is a random matrix array.

The exploit was made possible on a Tuesday evening patch and was patched Wednesday morning. I've only ever seen people post that they changed their pet's name but had it swapped back. I wonder how many Mages got looked over o_O
 
Asking because I MIGHT come back.

I know WoD is too far away to tell, and most things wont be 100% certain until patch day. But 1) is it worth it to make a twink at this stage? This is an opinionated question, so no flame war please. I feel like yes, we'll have scirmishes, but bgs will almost be out of question with the info we have at the moment. And 2) what is the best flag carrier between prot warrior and prot pally? Again, opinionated. I think pally would be better for pugs and warriors better for premades.

1. If you linked, wait for acc wide loom tab. if not then lvl now.

2. depends on side and race. Like prot pallys more for heal. but with 10 stacks anything gets insta killed 1v1.

3. imo - go with holy palla regardless of side. always been op and always will be. denounce 360 hands down.

I had a clean out of some out-of-date add-ons and I turned off/deleted something that was really useful and can't remember what it was...

It was something like PlateBuffs but I'm pretty sure that wasn't it. It showed dispellable buffs on enemy name plates to make mouse-over purging a bit quicker.

Well it seems u finally lost it. Welcome to the club. Slowly you will loose all sense of seriousness when it comes to wow. U will make silly gear sets and try to convince ppl that they are in fact bis. You may start RPwalking around all of your bgs or even having picnics with the other team. At least those are the common symptoms.
 
Hullo, I'm sure someone made a thread about how to spend your gold as F2P..

I'm gold capped, and was wondering if there's a list of items I can stock up/bank to sell at a later date, and also if there was a list of desirables that people spend their gold on? Thanks

Eternium Thread seems to have good resale and stacks well (can't remember where I saw/heard that). But unless you plan on going P2P or Blizzard makes some unlikely changes, I'm not sure there's any point in saving too much once you've got all the faction mounts and rep bags as repairs and transmogs don't cost that much at this level.
 
Male Tauren Holy Paladin or Male/Female Blood Elf Paladin? Someone please help me pick, it's a huge butt trying to pick between the 3 :)
